Investment Subproject definition

Investment Subproject means an eligible subproject to be carried out for the benefit of a Participating LSG (as hereinafter defined) utilizing the proceeds of Investment Subproject Financing (as hereinafter defined).

Investment Subproject means: (i) a specific project in land infrastructure or land productivity increase; (ii) specific technical advisory services in relation thereto; and (iii) such other activity and project as shall be identified by a BA and determined to be eligible pursuant to the POM (as hereinafter defined) and to be carried out by or, for the benefit of, such BA, utilizing the proceeds of an Investment Grant made under Part B of the Project;

Investment Subproject means a set of investments to be carried out by a Beneficiary Entity under an Investment Subproject Agreement and included in Part A of the Project.

Examples of Investment Subproject in a sentence

• Improvement of the efficiency of the water and wastewater sector through rehabilitation of approximately two to three wastewater treatment plants to be financed from the proceeds of the Investment Subproject Grants.

• The goods, works and services required for the construction of the Investment Subproject shall then be procured in accordance with the applicable procedures of said entrepreneur.

• To this end, the Recipient shall refrain from awarding any XX Xxxxx unless and until: (i) the screening of the respective proposal for Community Investment Subproject has been carried out pursuant to the ESMF; and (ii) if applicable, an appropriate Environmental and Social Management Plan and/or Resettlement Action Plan has been developed, in a manner and substance satisfactory to the Association, setting forth the required mitigation measures for the proposal under consideration.

More Definitions of Investment Subproject

Investment Subproject means a specific small or medium-sized hydro power project or related infrastructure project financed under Part A of the Project;

Investment Subproject means a subproject to be carried out by a Community and/or Ejido and consisting of a set of activities for the development, management and commercialization of tradable or potentially tradable timber, non-timber and other forest products and/or services, which subproject is eligible for financing out of the proceeds of the Loan in accordance with the criteria and other requirements set forth in the Operational Manual;

The following activities shall be ineligible for financing under any Investment Subproject: (a) new road construction; (b) transportation works in primary forest and protected areas; (c) construction of water reservoirs higher than 10 meters or which flood more than 100 hectares; (d) irrigation works that feed more than 100 incremental hectares; (e) flood protection or drainage works that affect wetland; (f) works in archeological areas with the exception of minor preservation works linked to a tourism strategy approved by the Recipient’s National Archeological Institute; (g) activities that may induce voluntary or involuntary occupation of forest lands; and (h) activities that may induce voluntary or involuntary resettlement.
