Leave Days definition

Leave Days that shall comply with thePaid Medical Leave Act, as well as Personal Reasons and Vacations.
Leave Days. A personal leave of absence without pay and without benefits may be granted, upon written request, for a period exceeding thirty (30) up to ninety (90) calendar days. During this period of absence, a secretary may return to the same position and accrue seniority and maintain any accumulated sick leave. If a secretary does not return from this leave as scheduled, she will be deemed to have terminated her employment.
Leave Days. This is an optional field but should be entered if supplied in the medical record. This will help better define the acute LOS by identifying the time the patient spends out of the acute setting. Same Day Flag – This is calculated using dates or Acute LOS. May be overwritten if required. Valid entries are 1 (Same Day) or 0 (Not Same Day). MHLS * – This field captures the mental health status and is optional but should be entered if supplied in the medical record. The default for this field is 9 which means ‘not applicable.’ Diagnoses Codes – The Principal Diagnosis (PDx) is required. All other diagnosis fields are optional, but if any Dxs occur in the medical record, they are necessary for correct grouping. Procedure Codes - All procedure fields are optional, but are necessary for correct grouping if supplied in the medical record.

Examples of Leave Days in a sentence

  • Personal Leave Days shall be taken in accordance with the requirements of service.

  • Association Leave Days: A pool of four (4) days shall be available each year from which BEA officers, delegates or members may draw to attend association business: conferences, workshops or lobbying.

  • Effective January 1st of each calendar year, all Regular Full-time employees will be credited with five (5) Personal Leave Days.

  • Years of Service Maximum Sick Leave Days Rate Per Day Percent of $25.

  • Emergency Leave Days – Absence due to circumstances over which the employee has no control and no option except to be absent, granted with a salary deduction at the rate paid to a non-certified substitute teacher.

  • There shall be no carry over of Personal Leave Days beyond December 31st of each year, nor will there be a cash payment in lieu of unused Personal Leave Days under any circumstances.

  • The parties agree that in the event the Higher Education Coalition Agreement provides for continuation, increase or elimination of the Personal Leave Day(s) as reflected in Article 12, Section 9 of the Agreement, the same shall be provided in this Agreement.

  • Employees commencing Regular Full-time employment subsequent to January 1st, and Regular part-time employees, will be credited with Personal Leave Days on a pro-rated basis.

  • An employee may be entitled to Family Caregiver Leave, Family Medical Leave and Personal Emergency Leave Days as provided for in, and in accordance with, the Employment Standards Act.

  • Contract Sick Leave Days 12 12 days Xxxx leave is defined as an employee’s absence from assigned duty due to personal illness, accidental injury, pregnancy, or accidental injury or illness in the immediate family.

Related to Leave Days

  • Leave Year means the year ending with the anniversary date of the employee’s appointment.

  • Work Days means judicial days (or a day when the court is open).

  • School Days means days when school is in session for students.

  • Days means calendar days.

  • Day/Days means calendar days, inclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

  • Working Days means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England and Wales; and

  • Weeks Pay' means the ordinary time rate of pay for the employee concerned:

  • Leave means authorized absence from duty by an employee during his or her regular or normal hours of work;

  • Leave of Absence means absent from work with permission.

  • Extended Period As defined in Section 9.04(b).

  • Period shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Schedule 8;

The first day of employment or reemployment is the first day the Employee performs an Hour of Service. An Employee who incurs a Period of Severance of twelve (12) months or less will also receive service-spanning credit by treating any such period as a Period of Service for purposes of eligibility and vesting (but not benefit accrual). For purposes of benefit accrual, a Participant's whole year Periods of Service is equal to the sum of all full and partial periods of service, whether or not such service is continuous or contiguous, expressed in the number of whole years represented by such sum. For this purpose, fractional periods of a year will be expressed in terms of days.

  • Determination Period means the period from and including a Determination Date in any year to but excluding the next Determination Date; and

  • Vacation Year means the twelve (12) month period commencing on the first (1st) day of April in each calendar year and concluding on the thirty-first (31st) day of March of the following calendar year.
