Licensed Device definition

Licensed Device means the single physical hardware system to which a license is assigned. For purposes of this definition, a hardware partition or blade is considered to be a separate device.
Licensed Device means a single physical hardware system, dedicated to Customer’s use, to which a license is assigned. Any dedicated device that is under the management or control of an entity other than Customer or one of its Affiliates is subject to the Outsourcing Software Management clause of the Product Terms located at http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9839207. Licensed Device means a specific physical computing device consisting of a specific number of physical CPUs and cores, owned by Licensee, for which Licensee has paid the applicable deployment and use license fees (including any applicable premiums for cross-platform deployment) required to authorize Licensee to deploy and use Applications on such device that is set forth in a distribution addendum to this License Agreement, any addendum or amendment to this License Agreement, or an Order. Deployment and use licenses for Licensed Devices are priced on a platform specific, per product bundle or per module, per physical CPU, and core basis.
