Local Safeguarding Partners definition

Local Safeguarding Partners means the three safeguarding partners (local authority, Integrated Care Systems' (ICSs) and the chief officer of police for an area any part of which falls within the local authority area) who make arrangements to work together with appropriate relevant agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of local children, including identifying and responding to their needs. The local arrangements relevant to the school can be found in Appendix 5.
Local Safeguarding Partners means the three statutory safeguarding partners (local authority, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and the chief officer of police for an area any part of which falls within the local authority area) who make arrangements to work together with appropriate relevant agencies and with other partners working locally including education providers and childcare settings to safeguard and promote the welfare of local children, including identifying and responding to their needs. Education providers play a vital role in sharing and contributing to key information about children, including attendance data, exclusions, concerns about abuse, neglect, exploitation, and wider social and environmental factors including extra-familial contexts, which are a key aspect of keeping children safe. The local arrangements relevant to the school can be found in Appendix 5.

Examples of Local Safeguarding Partners in a sentence

  • Early Help Assessment Referral Forms will be used by the school as well as references made to the referral thresholds as set by the Local Safeguarding Partners in which the child resides, to ensure support is provided as soon as a problem emerges at any point in a child’s life.

  • The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead is Kim Vanstone, Assistant Head Pastoral and SENDCo. The DSL is responsible for liaison with the local statutory children’s services agencies, and with the Local Safeguarding Partners (LSP).

  • This is fully addressed in section 01 Health and Safety procedures.• All settings follow procedures of their Local Safeguarding Partners (LSP) for safeguarding and any specific safeguarding procedures such as responding to radicalisation/extremism concerns.

  • Designated persons must also adhere to Local Safeguarding Partners (LSP) requirements, procedures and contact protocols for children who are absent or missing from childcare.• If a child who normally attends fails to arrive and no contact has been received from their parents, the management team takes immediate action to contact them to seek an explanation for the absence and be assured that the child is safe and well.

  • Inaddition, the School will comply with any request to supply information to the Local Safeguarding Partners that it requires in order for it to perform its functions.

  • Among those are what the Local Safeguarding Partners procedures refer to as Children in Specific Circumstances.

  • It also complies with other legal requirements and guidance and follows advice from the School’s Local Safeguarding Partners (specific details in School Supplements) 1.

  • St Helen’s School will not tolerate any illegal material being introduced and will always report illegal activity to the police and/or the Local Safeguarding Partners.

  • The DSL is responsible for liaison with the local statutory children’s services agencies, and with the Local Safeguarding Partners (LSP).

  • This policy is used in accordance with locally agreed inter-agency procedures and specifically in accordance with the Local Safeguarding Partners.

  • Emergency medical services personnel means that term as defined in section 20904 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.20904.

  • Best management practice (BMP) means a structural device or nonstructural practice designed to temporarily store or treat stormwater runoff in order to mitigate flooding, reduce pollution, and provide other amenities.

  • Patient Information means information (however recorded) which—

  • CPNI means information that relates to the quantity, technical configuration, type, destination, and amount of a Telecommunications Service subscribed to by any customer of a Telecommunications Carrier, and that is made available to the carrier by the customer solely by virtue of the carrier customer relationship; and information contained in the bills pertaining to telephone exchange service or telephone toll service received by a customer of a carrier.

  • GLBA means, collectively, Title V — Privacy of the Gramm—Xxxxx—Xxxxxx Act, P.L. 106—102, the Privacy Regulations and implementing regulations promulgated thereunder, and the standards for safeguarding customer information set forth in 12 CFR Part 364 and 16 CFR Part 314, all as they may be amended, supplemented and/or interpreted in writing from time to time by any federal Regulatory Authority.

  • Customer Personal Data means the personal data contained within the Customer Data.

  • Air Standards Manager means the Manager, Human Toxicology and Air Standards Section, Standards Development Branch, or any other person who represents and carries out the duties of the Manager, Human Toxicology and Air Standards Section, Standards Development Branch, as those duties relate to the conditions of this Certificate.

  • Emergency medical services or “EMS” means an integrated medical care delivery system to provide emergency and nonemergency medical care at the scene or during out-of-hospital patient transportation in an ambulance.

  • Administrative Safeguards are administrative actions, and policies and procedures, to manage the selection, development, implementation, and maintenance of security measures to protect electronic PHI and to manage the conduct of Contractor’s workforce in relation to the protection of that information.

  • Information Recipients has the meaning stated in Section 4.9(a).

  • Safeguarding means measures or controls that are prescribed to protect information systems.

  • Information Technology Resources means agency budgetary resources, personnel, equipment, facilities, or services that are primarily used in the management, operation, acquisition, disposition, and transformation, or other activity related to the lifecycle of information technology; acquisitions or interagency agreements that include information technology and the services or equipment provided by such acquisitions or interagency agreements; but does not include grants to third parties which establish or support information technology not operated directly by the Federal Government.   • Electronic and Information Resources Accessibility Standards means the accessibility standards for electronic and information resources contained in 1 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 213.

  • Technical safeguards means the technology and the policy and procedures for its use that 27 protect electronic PHI and control access to it.

  • Technological safeguards means the technology and the policy and procedures for use of the technology to protect and control access to personal information.

  • Information technology services means services designed to do any of the following:

  • CFPC means the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

  • Information Resources means any and all computer printouts, online display devices, mass storage media, and all computer-related activities involving any device capable of receiving email, browsing Web sites, or otherwise capable of receiving, storing, managing, or transmitting Data including, but not limited to, mainframes, servers, Network Infrastructure, personal computers, notebook computers, hand-held computers, personal digital assistant (PDA), pagers, distributed processing systems, network attached and computer controlled medical and laboratory equipment (i.e. embedded technology), telecommunication resources, network environments, telephones, fax machines, printers and service bureaus. Additionally, it is the procedures, equipment, facilities, software, and Data that are designed, built, operated, and maintained to create, collect, record, process, store, retrieve, display, and transmit information.

  • Asset Management Company/UTI AMC/AMC/Investment Manager means the UTI Asset Management Company Limited incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, (1 of 1956) [replaced by The Companies Act, 2013 (No.18 of 2013)] and approved as such by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) under sub-regulation (2) of Regulation 21 to act as the Investment Manager to the schemes of UTI Mutual Fund.

  • DSS means the Department of Social Services.

  • Quality Management System means a set of interrelated or interacting elements that organisations use to direct and control how quality policies are implemented and quality objectives are achieved;

  • New Jersey Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) Manual or “BMP Manual” means the manual maintained by the Department providing, in part, design specifications, removal rates, calculation methods, and soil testing procedures approved by the Department as being capable of contributing to the achievement of the stormwater management standards specified in this chapter. The BMP Manual is periodically amended by the Department as necessary to provide design specifications on additional best management practices and new information on already included practices reflecting the best available current information regarding the particular practice and the Department’s determination as to the ability of that best management practice to contribute to compliance with the standards contained in this chapter. Alternative stormwater management measures, removal rates, or calculation methods may be utilized, subject to any limitations specified in this chapter, provided the design engineer demonstrates to the municipality, in accordance with Section IV.F. of this ordinance and N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.2(g), that the proposed measure and its design will contribute to achievement of the design and performance standards established by this chapter.

  • Contractor information system means an information system belonging to, or operated by or for, the Contractor.

  • Safety Management System means a systematic approach to managing safety, including the necessary organisational structures, accountabilities, policies and procedures;
