The Borrower/Recipient and the Project Parties shall take all reasonable measures to ensure that the Project is carried out with due diligence in regard to environmental factors and in conformity with national environmental laws and any international treaties to which the Project Member State may be party. In particular, the Project Parties shall maintain appropriate pest management practices under the Project and, to that end, shall comply with the principles of the International Code of Conduct on the Distribution and Use of Pesticides of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), as amended, and ensure that pesticides procured under the Project do not include any pesticide formulation which would be classified as Extremely Hazardous (Class Ia) or Highly Hazardous (Class Ib) according to The WHO Recommended Classification of Pesticides by Hazard, as amended.

Environmental Factors. Environmental factors affect farmers among the vulnerable groups and the food system activity of farming (though in the case of plant and animal diseases other activities are affected: import, consumption and governance). Other social groups may also be affected by environmental factors, but with regard to their food security and nutrition, they are not affected in the direct way that farmers are. In terms of food needs and preferences there is not a strong relation with environmental factors. In terms of territories, environmental factors affect all territories except suburbs (so all areas that are mainly rural or less densely urbanised). In terms of the sectors and supply chains, all 6 identified sectors/supply chains are affected by plant and animal diseases. Extreme weather events affect the sectors of grains and tubers, fruits and vegetables and vegetable oils. Soil fertility degradation is seen to impact most strongly on two sectors (grains and tubers and vegetable oils), despite the fact that it seriously threatens other sectors (e.g fruits and vegetables) at more local scale. Water shortages are deemed to impact on two sectors mostly: fruits and vegetables and milk and dairy. The environmental factor that has the widest impact in terms of a range of sectors/supply chains and food system activities is that of plant and animal diseases. On the other hand, in terms of territories it impacts only agricultural areas, which may be misleading because these include other types of territories such as mountain regions, islands and desert-prone areas. The other 3 environmental factors only have a strong impact on farming as a food system activity, and on a more limited number of sectors/supply chains.
Environmental Factors. Non-genetic risk factors associated with gastric cancer have been reviewed extensively elsewhere (19, 20, 52, 147-152) and these risk factors are listed in Table 1.2. Xxxxxx A et al. recently summarized the risk factors associated with gastric cancer in terms of strength of evidence (Table 1.3) (150). The only two convincing factors are H. pylori infection and smoking.
Environmental Factors. Environmental factors may cause some disorders. These include but are not limited to Coccidia, Giardia, Kennel Cough (Infectious Tracheobronchitis), Diarrhea, parasites (including worms), Demodectic Mange, Scabies, allergies, fleas, ticks, mites, and autoimmune disorders and are not covered in this guarantee; These afflictions can be caused by external factors and contracted after the puppy leaves our care. Although not covered under this Guarantee, your puppy has received preventative treatment for worms, Coccidia, and Giardia; details are outlined under “Immunizations”. Our puppies are vet-checked prior to leaving our care and you will be provided with their medical records and fecal exam. Any and all health concerns or medical findings will be disclosed and discussed prior to you taking possession of your puppy.

Environmental Factors. Those factors external to the individual which impact the individual, family, group, and community external to the individual. This includes the home-work setting, leisure environment, and community at large (e.g., job, noise, pollution).
Environmental Factors. Another reason for the emergence of PPAs is the increased environmental awareness in society, including among leading groups of companies concerned about making their electricity consumption greener.
Environmental Factors. The environmental factors are the factors that characterize the outpatient clinic under study. These factors define the clinical environment for which the appointment system is designed. They thus establish the context for the appointment scheduling problem. Figure 1 sums up the environmental factors. Each of them is explained in detail in the paragraphs below.
