Lottery Bonds definition

Lottery Bonds means any bonds issued by the State of Oregon that are special obligations of the State of Oregon, payable from unobligated net lottery proceeds, the interest on which is exempt from federal income taxation, together with any refunding bonds, used to finance or refinance the Project through the initial funding or refinancing of all or a portion of the Loan.
Lottery Bonds means any bonds issued by the State of Oregon that are special obligations of the State of Oregon payable solely from unobligated net lottery proceeds, the interest on which is exempt from federal income taxation, together with any refunding bonds, used to finance or refinance the Project through the initial funding or refinancing of all or a portion of the Grant.

Examples of Lottery Bonds in a sentence

  • OBDD may decline to disburse the Financing Proceeds if it finds that the federal tax exemption of the Lottery Bonds cannot be assured.

  • Lottery Bonds Lottery bonds are backed by lottery revenues and may be used for educational projects authorized by legislative action.

  • The University recognizes it has limited control over debt issuance and management decisions for State GO and Lottery Bonds when University revenues are not the source of repayment.

  • Recipient shall retain and keep accessible all books, documents, papers, and records that are directly related to this Contract, the Project or the Financing Proceeds until the date that is three years following the later of the final maturity of the Lottery Bonds, or the final maturity or redemption date of any obligation, or series of obligations, that refinanced the Lottery Bonds, or such longer period as may be required by other provisions of this Contract or applicable law.

  • The Grantee shall not directly or indirectly use or permit the use of any of the Grant Amount or any other funds, or take any action or omit to take any action, which would cause any Lottery Bonds to be “arbitrage bonds” within the meaning of 26 U.S.C. Section 148(a).

  • 2023 Notes means the 6 7/8% Notes due 2023 issued by NTL pursuant to the 1988 Indenture.

  • 2029 Notes has the meaning specified in the recitals of this Supplemental Indenture.

  • Option Bonds means Current Interest Bonds, which may be either Serial or Term Bonds, which by their terms may be tendered by and at the option of the Owner for purchase prior to the stated maturity thereof.

  • Registered Notes has the meaning specified in Section 2.1.

  • Serial Bonds means those Bonds designated as such and maturing on the dates set forth in the Certificate of Award, bearing interest payable on each Interest Payment Date and not subject to mandatory sinking fund redemption.

  • School Bonds means School Obligations issued as Bonds.

  • 2019 Notes has the meaning set forth in the definition of “2018 Exchange Offers”.

  • 2022 Notes means the 6.25% Senior Notes due 2022 issued by the MLP and Finance.

  • 2016 Notes means the aggregate principal amount of US$460,000,000 of 4.25% Convertible Senior Notes Due 2016 issued pursuant to the 2016 Note Indenture.

  • 2024 Notes means the 7.000% Senior Notes due 2024, issued pursuant to the 2024 Indenture.

  • Treasury Bonds means United States Treasury Bonds or Notes.

  • Notes shall have the meaning assigned to such term in the recitals.

  • Entry Notes means a beneficial interest in the Notes, ownership and transfers of which shall be made through book entries by a Clearing Agency as described in Section 2.09.

  • 2014 Notes means the aggregate principal amount of US$399,517,000 of 10.25% Guaranteed Senior Notes Due 2014 issued pursuant to the 2014 Note Indenture.

  • Series 2017 Bonds means, collectively, the Series 2017A Bonds and the Series 2017B Bonds.

  • 2012 Notes means the 5.125% Senior Secured Notes due 2022 issued by the Issuer on July 2, 2012.

  • 2017 Notes means the aggregate principal amount of US$600,000,000 of 6.25% Guaranteed Senior Notes Due 2017 issued pursuant to the 2017 Note Indenture.

  • Issuer’s Bonds means any Bonds which are owned by the Issuer or any Affiliate of the Issuer.

  • Fundserv Notes means Notes purchased through Fundserv.

  • Bank Bonds means any Bonds purchased with moneys received under the Letter of Credit in connection with a Liquidity Drawing and held by the Tender Agent, or its agent, in each case, for the account of the Issuing Bank.

  • Completion Bonds means Bonds issued pursuant to a Supplemental Indenture ranking on parity with the Series of Bonds issued under such Supplemental Indenture, the proceeds of which are to be used to complete the Project.
