Student media advisor means an individual who is employed, appointed, or designated by the District to supervise or provide instruction with respect to student media.
Sub-Adviser means an adviser to
media service provider means the natural or legal person who has editorial responsibility for the choice of the audiovisual content of the audiovisual media service and determines the manner in which it is organised;
Investment Facilitators/Advisors means an individual, firm, corporate or other entity appointed by the Management Company to identify, solicit and assist investors in investing in the Scheme. The investment facilitator/advisor is not authorized to perform the Distribution Functions. The Management Company shall compensate the Investment Facilitators.
Sub-Advisor shall include the Sub-Advisor and/or any of its affiliates and the directors, officers and employees of the Sub-Advisor and/or any of its affiliates.
Legal Adviser means the properly qualified person appointed by the Trust to provide legal advice.
Independent Adviser means an independent financial institution of international repute or other independent financial adviser experienced in the international debt capital markets, in each case appointed by the Issuer at its own expense;
Independent Advisor means a reputable accounting, appraisal or nationally recognized investment banking, engineering or consulting firm (a) which does not, and whose directors, officers and employees or Affiliates do not, have a direct or indirect material financial interest in the Company and (b) which, in the judgment of the Board of Directors of the Company, is otherwise disinterested, independent and qualified to perform the task for which it is to be engaged.
Legal Advisor means the officer responsible for providing legal advice to the Standards Committee. This may be the Monitoring Officer, another legally qualified officer of the authority, or someone appointed for this purpose from outside the authority.
Expert Advisor means a mechanical online trading system designed to automate trading activities on an electronic trading platform such as the Company’s Trading Platform. It can be programmed to alert the Client of a trading opportunity and can also trade his Trading Account automatically managing all aspects of trading operations from sending orders directly to the Trading Platform to automatically adjusting stop loss, Trailing Stops and take profit levels.
Technical Advisor means any Staff member, third-party contractor, or industry stakeholder who satisfies NERC’s or the Compliance Enforcement Authority’s (as applicable) conflict of interest policy and is selected to assist in a proceeding by providing technical advice to the Hearing Officer and/or the Hearing Body or Hearing Panel.
Adviser means a party furnishing services to the Trust pursuant to any contract described in Article IV, Section 7(a) hereof;
Fund Adviser means any entity that acts as a manager, adviser or sub-adviser to a Legg Mason Fund.
External Manager means either of the following: (1) A person who is seeking to be, or is, retained by a board or an investment vehicle to manage a portfolio of securities or other assets for compensation, or (2) A person who manages an investment fund and who offers or sells, or has offered or sold, an ownership interest in the investment fund to a board or an investment vehicle.
Advisor or “ADVISORS” means the Person or Persons, if any, appointed, employed or contracted with by the Company pursuant to Section 8.1 hereof and responsible for directing or performing the day-to-day business affairs of the Company, including any Person to whom the Advisor subcontracts all or substantially all of such functions.
Travel Advisory or Travel Warning means U.S. State Department communication advising caution in traveling to specified destinations due to reasons such as armed violence, civil or political unrest, high incidence of crime (specially kidnapping and/or murder), natural disaster or outbreak of one or more contagious diseases.
portfolio adviser means a person or company that provides investment advice or portfolio management services under a contract with the investment fund or with the manager of the investment fund;
Invesco Advisers, Inc. s -affiliated Broker-dealer” means Invesco Distributors, Inc. or Invesco Capital Markets, Inc. or their successors.
Advisory Firm means an accounting firm that is nationally recognized as being expert in Covered Tax matters, selected by the Corporation.
Investment Advisor means any person or entity who is an Authorized Person to give Instructions with respect to the investment and reinvestment of the Fund's Investments.
Training manager means the individual responsible for administering a training program and monitoring the performance of principal instructors and guest instructors.
Investment adviser representative means an individual employed by or associated with an investment adviser or federal covered investment adviser and who makes any recommendations or otherwise gives investment advice regarding securities, manages accounts or portfolios of clients, determines which recommendation or advice regarding securities should be given, provides investment advice or holds herself or himself out as providing investment advice, receives compensation to solicit, offer, or negotiate for the sale of or for selling investment advice, or supervises employees who perform any of the foregoing. The term does not include an individual who:
Investment Adviser or "Adviser" means a party furnishing services to the Trust pursuant to any contract described in Article IV, Section 7(a) hereof;
Morgan Stanley Broker means a broker-dealer affiliated with Morgan Stanley.
Adviser/Subadviser means the Adviser or a Subadviser, if any, of the Fund or both as the context may require.
News media means a newspaper or other periodical issued at regular intervals, news service in paper or electronic form, radio station, television station, television network, community antenna television service, or person or corporation engaged in making news reels or other motion picture news for public showing.
