MICR Data definition

MICR Data means information from the Magnetic Ink Character Recognition stylized printing on the bottom of checks comprising of routing, transit, account and check serial numbers.
MICR Data means Magnetic Ink Character Recognition, the line of numbers and letters on the bottom of the front of a Check that facilitates processing.
MICR Data refers to the information embedded in the routing, transit, account and check serial numbers printed in the Magnetic Ink Character Recognition characters at the bottom of checks. "Remote Deposit Capture System" refers to the Citizens Bank computer systems and databases that you access to use the Mobile Deposit service.

Examples of MICR Data in a sentence

  • The Bank may, in its sole discretion, reject, repair, alter, amend, re-format or convert the Check Image or MICR Data submitted in an Electronic Deposit in accordance with general check collection practices and industry presentment standards, but the Bank has no obligation to do so.

  • You are required to inspect all Check Images to ensure the legibility of the Check Image, including without limitation the dollar amount of the check, the signatures of the persons signing and endorsing the check and the MICR Data.

  • Depending on the collection method, the Check Image, MICR Data, Substitute Check, is subject to the rules of that clearinghouse, Federal Reserve Bank, or image share/exchange network or Bank agreement.

  • In creating the Check Image, Customer must ensure that the MICR Data, check number, and name of the maker of the check are commercially printed on the check.

  • You are solely responsible for accurately capturing a clear and complete image of each paper check, including MICR Data.

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, Bank may in its sole discretion determine the manner in which Bank will seek to collect a Check Image and/or MICR Data deposited by Customer.

  • The transmission of Check Images, MICR Data, or any other legally permissible Check collection method using the Remote Deposit Capture Service is not subject to the funds availability requirements of Regulation CC.

  • Bank may, in its sole discretion, reject, repair, alter, amend, reformat or convert the Check Image Metadata or MICR Data submitted in an Electronic Deposit in accordance with general check collection practices and industry presentment standards, but Bank shall have no obligation to reject, repair, alter, amend, re-format or convert the Check Image Metadata or MICR Data.

  • Without limiting the generality of the preceding sentence, Bank may, at its option: (a) present or transfer the Check Image or MICR Data to the paying bank, a Federal Reserve Bank, Check clearinghouse, image share/exchange network, or other bank; (b) create a Substitute Check, and/or MICR Data and collect such Item, or (c) request that Customer provide to Bank the original paper Check from which the Check Image and/or MICR Data was created and then collect the original paper Check.

  • In addition, you make the following specific representations and warranties:  The Check Image is a complete and accurate representation of the front and back of a check which is eligible for deposit under this Agreement, including the MICR Data.

Related to MICR Data

  • Customer Data means any content, materials, data and information that Authorized Users enter into the production system of a Cloud Service or that Customer derives from its use of and stores in the Cloud Service (e.g. Customer-specific reports). Customer Data and its derivatives will not include SAP’s Confidential Information.

  • End User Data means any information or data of any kind that personally identifies (or that can be used, together with other information or data, to personally identify) an End User.

  • UNICEF Data means any and all information or data in digital form or processed or held in digital form that

  • User Data means any Personal Data or other data or information collected by or on behalf of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries from users of any Company Product or website of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.

  • Licensee Data means, other than Resultant Data, information, data and other content, in any form or medium, that is collected, downloaded or otherwise received, directly or indirectly from Licensee or an Authorized User by or through the Services.

  • System Data means data and data elements collected by the SaaS Software, SaaS Service or Licensor’s computer systems regarding configuration, environment, usage, performance, vulnerabilities and security of the SaaS Software or SaaS Service that may be used to generate logs, statistics and reports regarding performance, availability, integrity and security of the SaaS Software.

  • Product Data are illustrations, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, and other information furnished by the Contractor to illustrate materials or equipment for some portion of the Work.

  • Client Data means all data or records of whatever nature in whatever form relating to the Client, its operations, facilities, assets, employees, students or otherwise relating to its business, whether subsisting at the date of this Agreement, or created or processed in connection with the Services or as provided by the Client to the Supplier in connection with the Services. Client Data shall include all Client Personal Data

  • Cardholder Data has the meaning defined by the PCI Security Standards Council, Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) and Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS), Glossary of Terms, Abbreviations, and Acronyms, Version 3.0, January 2014, currently available online at: xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/documents/PCI_DSS_Glossary_v3.pdf.

  • Raw Data means the primary quantitative and empirical data first collected from experiments and clinical trials conducted within the scope of this CRADA.

  • Your Data means information or data (which may include Personal Data) that you input and transfer to NCR Voyix for processing and that is collected, stored or maintained in the course of providing the Service or the Software. Your Data expressly excludes any information or data that does not connect or associate you or any Users to or with such information or data.

  • Regulatory Data means any and all research data, pharmacology data, chemistry, manufacturing and control data, preclinical data, clinical data and all other documentation submitted, or required to be submitted, to Regulatory Authorities in association with regulatory filings for the Product (including any applicable Drug Master Files (“DMFs”), Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (“CMC”) data, or similar documentation).

  • Patient Data means any electronic data, information or material about a Patient entered into the Software.

  • Product Information has the meaning specified in Section 10.12(a).

  • Computer data means any representation of facts, information or concepts in a form suitable for processing in a computer system, including a program suitable to cause a computer system to perform a function;

  • Computer database means a collection of recorded data in a form capable of being processed by a computer. The term does not include computer software.

  • Contractor Materials means Materials owned or developed prior to the provision of the Work, or developed by Contractor independently from the provision of the Work and without use of the JBE Materials or Confidential Information.

  • Pseudonymous data means information that cannot be attributed to a specific individual without the use of additional information provided that it is kept separately and subject to appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that it is not attributed to the individual.
