Ministry of Justice Guidance means Ministry of Justice Guidance in relation to Section 9 of the Bribery Act 2010 available at xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxx.xxx.xx/guidance/docs/bribery-act-2010-guidance.pdf;
Department of Justice means the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice.
Antitrust Division means the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice.
Antitrust Authority means any governmental authority charged with enforcing, applying, administering, or investigating any Antitrust Law, including any attorney general of any state of the United States, the European Commission, the Bureau of Competition in Canada or any other competition authority of any jurisdiction.
Antitrust Authorities means the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice, the United States Federal Trade Commission or the antitrust or competition Law authorities of any other jurisdiction (whether United States, foreign or multinational).
Ministry means the Ontario Ministry of the Environment;
FTC means the United States Federal Trade Commission.
European Commission means the authority within the European Union that has the legal authority to grant Regulatory Approvals in the European Union based on input received from the EMA or other competent Regulatory Authorities.
Ministry of Finance means the Recipient’s Ministry of Finance, or any successor thereto.
DOJ means the United States Department of Justice.
Deputy Commissioner means the Deputy Commissioner of the district;
public authority means any authority or body or institution of self- government established or constituted—
Councillor means a member of a municipal council;
Government Authorities means, without limitation, all Government departments and agencies with responsibility for the import and export of goods, the collection of revenue on the import and export of goods and the transport of those goods to include, without limitation, Customs, AQIS, the ATO and the RSA;
securities regulatory authority or “SRA” means a body created by statute in any Canadian or foreign jurisdiction to administer securities law, regulation and policy (e.g. securities commission), but does not include an exchange or other self regulatory entity;
Chief Justice means the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
MHLW means the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and any successor agency thereto.
Governmental Antitrust Authority has the meaning set forth in Section 5.08(b).
Highway authority means the state highway commission, a board of county road commissioners or the governing body of a city or village.
Central Bank Regulations means the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement) Act 2013
Antitrust Law means the Xxxxxxx Act, as amended, the Xxxxxxx Act, as amended, the HSR Act, the Federal Trade Commission Act, as amended, Foreign Antitrust Laws and all other Laws that are designed or intended to prohibit, restrict or regulate actions having the purpose or effect of monopolization or restraint of trade or lessening of competition through merger or acquisition.
Securities Regulatory Authorities means the securities commission or similar regulatory authority in each province and territory of Canada that is responsible for administering the Canadian securities legislation in force in such jurisdictions;
European Communities means the European Economic Community, the European Coal and Steel Community and the European Atomic Energy Community.
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission or "FERC" means the
Government Authority means any foreign or domestic federal, state, provincial, municipal, county, city or local legislative, administrative or regulatory authority, agency, court, body or other governmental or quasi-governmental entity with competent jurisdiction, including any supranational body.
