Board of Education Approval Required; Prior to Issuance of Change Order (N.J.A.C. 5:30-11.2) Change orders may be approved by the Board of Education in an amount up to twenty percent (20%) when necessitated by one of the following:• Emergencies consistent with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-7;• Unforeseeable physical conditions; or• Minor modification to the project/scope that achieve cost savings, improve service or resolve construction conditions.
