Multiple-family Residential definition

Multiple-family Residential means a development where the building or buildings on a lot area used for three or more dwellings in accordance with the regulations for multiple-family residential use specified in City of Kamloops Zoning Bylaw
Multiple-family Residential. (or “MFR”) means a building, or group of buildings on the same lot, each containing three or more dwelling units, for residential use only and specifically excluding commercial tourist accommodation, on a lot which includes a minimum useable outdoor recreation/ amenity space of:
Multiple-family Residential means a development where the building or buildings on a lot are used for three or more dwellings with a minimum density of 125 units per hectare in accordance with the regulations for multiple-family residential use specified in City of Kamloops Zoning Bylaw No. 5-1-2001, as amended.

Examples of Multiple-family Residential in a sentence

  • Any residential uses permitted in the RM-2 Multiple-family Residential District.

  • In an I-2 General Industrial District, no building or land shall be used and no building shall be erected except for one or more of the following specified uses unless otherwise provided in this ordinance.1. Any uses permitted in the I-1 Light Industrial District and any residential uses permitted in the RM-2 Multiple-family Residential District.

More Definitions of Multiple-family Residential

Multiple-family Residential means an Apartment or Condominium.

Multiple-family Residential or "Resort Condominium" units, or combination thereof, may be developed without the concurrent provision of Affordable Housing. However, development and construction of the remaining units first requires the development and completion, including issuance of occupancy permit(s), of at least eight (8) Affordable Housing units on the Lands, allocated to the Development Area #1 affordable housing requirement. The other requirements of section 7.3 and this Part continue to apply to Development Area #1, and without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the total Affordable Housing requirements remains one (1) unit for every five (5) "Multiple Family Residential" and "Resort Condominium" units developed. The Developer covenants and agrees that if at the eighth (8th) anniversary of the adoption of the Rezoning Bylaw, less than forty (40) Multiple Family Residential and Resort Condominium units have been constructed, then the full requirements of Affordable Housing for Development Area #1 shall be provided prior to any further development in Development Area #1. The Developer covenants and agrees that the District may withhold any and all approvals or permits in this Development Area #1 until the requirements of this section have been satisfied.
Multiple-family Residential means a residential occupancy of a building to which, pursuant to clause1.3.3.2 of the Building Code. Part 3 of the B.C. Building Code applies;

Related to Multiple-family Residential

  • Single-family residence means a structure maintained and used as a single dwelling unit. Notwithstanding that a dwelling unit shares one or more walls with another dwelling unit, it is a single family residence if it has direct access to a street or thoroughfare and shares neither heating facilities, hot water equipment, nor any other essential facility or service with another dwelling unit.

  • Multiple-family dwelling means a property containing 5 or more residential units, including those which are occupied seasonally.

  • Multi-family housing means a building or structure that is designed to house two (2) or more different households in separate housing Units which have full kitchen facilities including oven/range, refrigerator, kitchen sink with hot and cold water supply and food storage facilities and at least one (1) full bathroom facility(s), one (1) full bedroom and one (1) living area (including a combination thereof such as studio arrangements).

  • Single-family dwelling unit means a structure that is usually occupied by just one household or family and for the purposes of this Policy is expected to generate an average of 250 gallons per day of wastewater.

  • Multi-family dwelling means a structure that contains more than one separate dwelling unit, which is used, or occupied, or intended to be used or occupied, in whole, or in part as the home or residence of one or more persons.

  • Foster family home means a private home in which children are placed for foster family care under supervision of the cabinet or a licensed child-placing agency;

  • Single-family dwelling means a private residence provided with sleeping and cooking facilities intended for domestic use and in which the occupants live as a single housekeeping unit that is not part of a Multiple Dwelling;

  • Federally Qualified Health Center means a non-administrative medical facility with a fixed permanent location that is identified on the following search engines and offers health services on a sliding scale payment system: http://findahealthcenter.hrsa.gov or http://www.ihs.gov/ or http://www.aachc.org/.

  • Investor-Owned Residential Loans means Loans, excluding advances made pursuant to Home Equity Loans, that are secured by mortgages on one- to four family residences or stock of cooperative housing associations that are not owner-occupied. These loans can be treated as Restructured Loans on a commercially reasonable basis and can be a restructured under terms separate from the Exhibit 5 standards. Please refer to Exhibit 2b for guidance in Calculation of Loss for Restructured Loans.

  • Family or household members means spouses, domestic partners, former spouses, former domestic partners, persons who have a child in common regardless of whether they have been married or have lived together at any time, adult persons related by blood or marriage, adult persons who are presently residing together or who have resided together in the past, persons sixteen years of age or older who are presently residing together or who have resided together in the past and who have or have had a dating relationship, persons sixteen years of age or older with whom a person sixteen years of age or older has or has had a dating relationship, and persons who have a biological or legal parent-child relationship, including stepparents and stepchildren and grandparents and grandchildren.

  • Non-residential means lands, Buildings or portions thereof used, or designed or intended for other than Residential use, including the non- residential portion of a Live-Work Unit;

  • Multifamily dwelling means a structure that contains more than one separate residential dwelling unit, which is used or occupied, or is intended to be used or occupied, in whole or in part, as the home or residence of one or more persons.

  • Registered family day home means any family day home that has met the standards for voluntary registration for such homes pursuant to regulations adopted by the Board and that has obtained a certificate of registration from the Commissioner.

  • Multifamily housing means housing accommodations designed as a residence for more than 1 family.

  • Apartment Dwelling means any dwelling unit within a building containing more than four dwelling units where the units are connected by an interior corridor;

  • Adult family home means a home licensed under chapter 70.128

  • Qualified Census Tract means any Census tract which is designated by the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development as having 50 percent or more of the households at an income level which is less than 60 percent of the Area Gross Median Income in accordance with Section 42(d)(5) of the Code.

  • Residential Zone means a zone earmarked for buildings exclusively designed for human habitation and in no case shall include its use in whole or a part thereof for any other purpose e.g commercial activities, school, institution, shop, office, clinic, beauty parlor, guest house, marriage center, gymnasium, tuition center, club activities, work-shop, store or godown etc. or for the purpose of political, religious and sectarian activities. It includes parks, gardens, play grounds, sector shops and other open spaces located in the area earmarked in the residential zone.

  • Investor-Owned Residential Loan means a Loan, excluding advances made pursuant to a Home Equity Loan, that is secured by a mortgage on a one- to four family residences or stock of cooperative housing associations that is not owner-occupied or the borrower’s primary residence.

  • non-residential use means a building or structure of any kind whatsoever used, designed or intended to be used for other than a residential use;

  • Family home or "family residence" means the location or portion of a location where the applicant and his or her family reside, and may include basements and attics.   • Family day home means a child day program offered in the residence of the provider or the home of any of the children in care for one through 12 children under the age of 13, exclusive of the provider's own children and any children who reside in the home, when at least one child receives care for compensation. The provider of a licensed or registered family day home shall disclose to the parents or guardians of children in their care the percentage of time per week that persons other than the provider will care for the children. Family day homes serving five through 12 children, exclusive of the provider's own children and any children who reside in the home, shall be licensed. However, no family day home shall care for more than four children under the age of two, including the provider's own children and any children who reside in the home, unless the family day home is licensed or voluntarily registered. However, a family day home where the children in care are all related to the provider by blood or marriage shall not be required to be licensed.

  • Residential Unit means a home, apartment, residential condominium unit or mobile home, serving as the principal place of residence.

  • Residential care home or “RCH” means a residential care home as defined and licensed under the Residential Care Homes (Elderly Persons) Ordinance (Cap. 459), or as defined and issued with a licence or certificate of exemption under the Residential Care Homes (Persons with Disabilities) Ordinance (Cap. 613), or the boarding section of a special school subvented under the Education Bureau, or the residential facilities of the Skills Centre (Tuen Mun) of Vocational Training Council, or a nursing home as referred to in the Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Maternity Homes Registration Ordinance (Cap. 165) which provides residential services for persons aged 60 or above in Hong Kong.
