Network Security Incident definition

Network Security Incident means a negligent security failure or weakness with respect to a “computer system” which allowed one or more of the following to happen:
Network Security Incident means a Hacking Incident, Computer Virus, or a Denial of Service Attack.

  • Cybersecurity Incident means an event occurring on or conducted through a computer network that actually or imminently jeopardizes the integrity, confidentiality, or availability of computers, information or communications systems or networks, physical or virtual infrastructure controlled by computers or information systems, or information resident on any of these. Cybersecurity incident includes, but is not limited to, the existence of a vulnerability in an information system, system security procedures, internal controls, or implementation that is subject to exploitation.

  • Data Security Incident means a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to, Agreement Personal Data transmitted, stored or otherwise Processed;

  • Security Breach means the unauthorized acquisition of or access to Customer Data by an unauthorized person that compromises the security, confidentiality, or integrity of Customer Data, including instances in which internal personnel access systems in excess of their user rights or use systems inappropriately. “Security Breach” shall also be deemed to include any breach of security, confidentiality, or privacy as defined by any applicable law, rule, regulation, or order.

  • Router means a modem or router provided by us for use by you in connection with the Broadband Service.

  • Discrepancies incident to shipment means any differences (e.g., count or condition) between the items documented to have been shipped and items actually received.

  • Extenuating Circumstances means the inability to perform at an optimum level arising from one or more of the reasons set out in clause 6.1.
