Route is a transmission path between one of CenturyLink's Wire Centers or switches and another of CenturyLink's Wire Centers or Switches. A route between two (2) points (e.g., Wire Center or Switch "A" and Wire Center or Switch "Z") may pass through one (1) or more intermediate Wire Centers or Switches (e.g., Wire Center or Switch "X"). Transmission paths between identical end points (e.g., Wire Center or Switch "A" and Wire Center or Switch "Z") are the same "route," irrespective of whether they pass through the same intermediate Wire Centers or Switches, if any.

Transient space marketplace means an online marketplace through which a person may offer transient accommodations or hotel rooms to individuals. A "transient space marketplace" allows transient accommodations or hotel rooms to be advertised or listed through an online marketplace in exchange for consideration or provides a means for a customer to arrange for the occupancy of the transient accommodation or hotel room in exchange for consideration. A 'transient space marketplace' shall not include an online marketplace operated by or on behalf of a hotel or hotel corporation that facilitates customer occupancy solely for the hotel or hotel corporation's owned or managed hotels and franchisees, and shall not include a travel agency or an online travel agency.

Distribution center means a building or structure used primarily for the storage of goods which are intended for subsequent shipment to retail outlets. Distribution center does not mean a building or structure used primarily to store raw agricultural products, used primarily by a manufacturer to store goods to be used in the manufacturing process, used primarily for the storage of petroleum products, or used for the retail sale of goods.

Backhaul means intermediate links between the core network, or backbone network, and the small subnetworks at the edge of the network (e.g., connecting cell phones/towers to the core telephone network). Backhaul can be wireless (e.g., microwave) or wired (e.g., fiber optic, coaxial cable, Ethernet).
Digital Health refers to the use of digital and virtual tools, products, technologies, data, and services that enable improved patient experience and population health outcomes, care quality, access, integration, coordination, and system sustainability when they are leveraged by patients, providers and integrated care teams;
FOIPPA means the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act;
Digital network means any online-enabled application, software, website or system offered or utilized by a transportation network company that enables the prearrangement of rides with transportation network company drivers.

Basic Rate Interface-ISDN (BRI-ISDN) provides for a digital transmission of two (2) 64 Kbps bearer channels and one (1) 16 Kbps data channel (2B+D).
Life-sustaining treatment means treatment that, based on reasonable medical judgment, sustains the life of a patient and without which the patient will die. The term includes both life-sustaining medications and artificial life support such as mechanical breathing machines, kidney dialysis treatment, and artificially administered nutrition and hydration. The term does not include the administration of pain management medication, the performance of a medical procedure necessary to provide comfort care, or any other medical care provided to alleviate a patient's pain.
