Newman facilities definition

Newman facilities means a system for the transmission of electricity from the power station to Newman by way of a 220 kilovolt high voltage transmission line between the power station and Newman and includes facilities to transmit electricity to operations carried on pursuant to the Marillana Creek Agreement or, at the option of the Joint Venturers, a gas turbine power station of at least 70 megawatts at Newman and a gas pipeline system to that power station from an off‑take point in the vicinity of Newman on the proposed gas transmission pipeline between Dampier and Kalgoorlie;

Examples of Newman facilities in a sentence

  • For the purpose of this subclause, the power station, the gas pipeline, the Port Hedland facilities and the Newman facilities shall be deemed to be constructed when they are able to be used for the purposes for which they were built.
