Normative Requirements definition

Normative Requirements means those portions of the Implementation Draft Specification or 152 Proposed Standard Specification that are expressly identified as required for compliance with the 153 Implementation Draft Specification or Proposed Standard Specification including those portions 154 of an optional or alternative portion of the Implementation Draft Specification or Proposed 155 Standard Specification that are identified as required for compliance with such optional or 156 alternative portion. For clarity, those portions of the Implementation Draft Specification or 157 Proposed Standard Specification, including any portions of an optional or alternative portion 158 thereof, which are designated by the terms “must”, “shall”, “mandatory”, “normative” or 159 “required” are expressly identified as being required for compliance under this definition.
Normative Requirements means those portions of the 134 Proposed Standard Specification that are expressly identified as required for compliance with the 135 Proposed Standard Specification including those portions of an optional or alternative portion of 136 the Proposed Standard Specification that are identified as required for compliance with such 137 optional or alternative portion. For clarity, those portions of the Final Specification, including any portions of an optional or alternative portion thereof, which are designated by the terms “must”, “shall”, “mandatory”, “normative” or “required” are expressly identified as being required for compliance. For the avoidance of doubt, Compliant Portion does not include any portions of a product that implement and are compliant solely with Formerly Adopted Specifications. In the event that a product contains one or more portions that implement and are compliant with, respectively, the Final Specifications and the Formerly Adopted Specifications, such portions shall collectively be considered a Compliant Portion.
