Notice of Refusal definition

Notice of Refusal means a written notice given by the Mint to the Customer informing the Customer that the Mint's designated carrier refused to pick up a particular shipment of Precious Metals for reasons such as, but not limited to: (a) a discrepancy between: (i) the number of banded pallets, the number of sealed crates and/or the number of boxes as calculated/verified by the Mint's designated carrier upon pick up; and (ii) the information the Customer provided in the relevant Initial Notice; and/or (b) the discovery of Evidence of Tampering in furtherance to the verifications made by the Mint's designated carrier.
