Nottingham City. Council has overarching responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people in their area. Although estimates are based on approximately 75% of the previous terms total sum, please note that the Portal System will not make estimate payments for: • Any children who had end dates applied during the previous term • Any children where the System believes the child is no longer age eligible Furthermore, for eligible 2 year olds, if this term is the term following the child’s third birthday their estimate payment would automatically be calculated at a universal 3 and 4 year old hourly rate rather than their previous 2 year old hourly rate.
