NSF Fee definition

NSF Fee means non-sufficient funds fee; and
NSF Fee means an Administrative Fee from time to time established by Council in respect of a demand for payment received by the City from a Person for payment of any Administrative Penalty or Administrative Fee, which has insufficient funds available in the account on which the instrument was drawn; and listed in Schedule “A”;
NSF Fee means an Administrative Fee established by Council from time to time in respect of payment by negotiable instrument received by the City from a Person for payment of any Administrative Penalty or Administrative Fee, for which there are insufficient funds available in the account on which the instrument was drawn, as listed in the Tariff of Fees By-law;

Examples of NSF Fee in a sentence

  • If we do not pay an item, we will return the item and charge you a NSF Fee each time an item is presented for payment and we return it unpaid due to an insufficient available balance.

  • In the event a transaction or item is resubmitted for payment at a time when your account lacks sufficient available funds to pay it and we decline it, we will charge a related NSF Fee each time that same transaction is returned unpaid.

  • If we do not authorize and pay an overdraft, then we decline or return the transaction or item unpaid and charge a related NSF Fee as stated in our Fee Schedule.

  • If you decline to utilize any of the optional overdraft protection plans and you are not eligible for our Courtesy Pay Program, and there are insufficient funds in your checking account to pay an item, your items will not be paid, they will be returned, and an NSF Fee will be charged for each item returned.

  • If we choose not to pay the item/ transaction under Discretionary Overdraft Privilege, you are subject to a Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Fee in accordance with our Fee Schedule for each such item each time it is presented for payment and returned unpaid due to an insufficient available balance.
