Only Representative as defined in Article 8 of REACH. Parties: being the signing parties to this Agreement, having the quality of either: Lead Registrant: the SIEF participant agreed by the other members of the relevant SIEF to prepare and make the joint submission of certain data required for these SIEF members’ registration of the substance under REACH. Co-Registrant: a SIEF participant which by signature of this Agreement confirms that it intends to make an individual registration of the Substance and for this purpose shall rely on the Joint Registration Dossier prepared by the Lead Registrant for submission to the Agency on behalf of all co-registrants. This term also covers a signatory Third Party Representative acting on behalf another legal entity which itself shall be the actual individual registrant of the Substance and beneficiary of a Letter of Access. Registration Deadline: The date laid down in Article 23 of REACH before which entities wishing to benefit from the transition period to continue manufacturing or importing phase-in substances into the European Economic Area must register under REACH.

Only Representative means a person established in the Jurisdiction appointed by the Company to fulfill its Non EU Legislation obligations applicable to the Company to the extent that such obligations are the same (or materially the same) as under Article 8 of REACH mutatis mutandis.

Examples of Only Representative in a sentence

  • In that case, the Non-Lead Member that has paid the compensation is responsible for compliance of its Affiliate(s) or their Only Representative with the rights and obligations pursuant to this Agreement, including the confidentiality obligations under Title I, Article II of this Agreement.

  • If an Only Representative represents more than one non-EU entity within the SIEF, such Only Representative shall compensate the Lead Registrant on account of each non-EU entity it represents by the payment of a separate Joint Registration Compensation per Non-EU entity and its Affiliates.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, this includes but is not limited to the Seller having no obligation under REACH or this Agreement to obtain either itself or through its affiliated companies or any Only Representative (as defined in REACH) any requested pre-registration, registration or authorization for any substance(s) in its Product or in any raw materials required for production of its Product, unless the Parties have agreed to specific compliance terms and conditions related to each substance.

  • In the event that the Only Representative wishes to represent any entity other than the Principal, it shall be obliged to enter into a separate Letter of Access Agreement in respect of each such Non-EU Manufacturer.

  • Nothing in this paragraph shall prevent the Only Representative or the Principal from accessing or reviewing the documents that are published on the internet pursuant to Article 119 of REACH.

  • In that case, the Non-Lead Member that has paid the compensation is responsible for compliance of its Affiliates or their Only Representative (as the case may be) with the rights and obligations pursuant to the Agreement, including the confidentiality obligations under Title I, Article II of the Agreement.

  • An Only Representative representing several Principals will be allocated costs for purposes of this provision based on the number of Principals he represents, i.e. if an Only Representative represents three Principals, such Only Representative will pay the Common Costs for three Members whose voting rights and thus Cost shares are determined for each individual Member according to the same formula used for the other Members.

  • Factory representative means an agent or employee of a manufacturer, distributor, or factory branch retained or employed for the purpose of making or promoting the sale of new motor vehicles or for supervising or contracting with new motor vehicle dealers or proposed motor vehicle dealers.

  • Authorized City Representative means the Mayor, the City Manager or such other Person at the time designated to act on behalf of the City as evidenced by written certificate furnished to the Developer and the Trustee containing the specimen signature of such Person and signed on behalf of the City by its Mayor or City Manager. Such certificate may designate an alternate or alternates, each of whom may perform all duties of the Authorized City Representative.
