Opioid treatment services definition

Opioid treatment services means medical services, nursing services, health-related services, and ancillary services provided to a patient receiving an opioid agonist treatment medication for opiate addiction.
Opioid treatment services means treatment for opioid use disorders using a combination of approved medications, limited to methadone and buprenorphine, and behavioral health services which is delivered by an agency certified as an opioid treatment program in accordance with He-A 304.03.
