Ordinary Span of Hours definition

Ordinary Span of Hours means the hours defined in clause 6.1.3.
Ordinary Span of Hours means the span of time on a given day in which an employee’s Standard Ordinary Hours can be worked as defined in clause 3.1.1 & 3.

  • Additional Time Shall mean time worked by a part-time employee that is in addition to the employee’s standard ordinary hours of work but still falls within Ordinary Span of Hours.

  • When an employee has nominated to be included on a work roster outside of the Ordinary Span of Hours to provide a Council service, and the functions of that service are not related to the terms of their normal employment arrangement then the additional time worked shall be: • Paid as OVERTIME attracting a penalty payment of time and a half for time so worked at Step 1 of the Classification Level / Grade of the incumbent employee’s rate of pay.

Ordinary Span of Hours means the hours of work paid at the ordinary hourly rate and not attracting any penalty.

  • Ordinary Hours means the Ordinary Hours that the Employee is required to work which are 36 hours per week, 8 hours per day Monday to Friday (with 0.8 hours per day accruing for a paid Rostered Day Off)
