Outbound Travel Alert definition

Outbound Travel Alert or “OTA” shall mean any of the 3 colour-coded alerts issued by the Hong Kong government under the Outbound Travel Alert System, and such alerts are hereinafter referred to as “Amber Alert”, “Red Alert” and “Black Alert” respectively.
Outbound Travel Alert means the alert issued by the Government of Hong Kong under the Outbound Travel Alert (OTA) System. There are 3 levels of Travel Alert: “Amber Alert”, “Red Alert” and “Black Alert”. Definition of the “Outbound Travel Alert” may be changed by the Company from time to time based on changes to the OTA System communicated by the Government of Hong Kong.

  • The Black Alert cover is effective only if the insurance is purchased before the announcement of issuance of the Black Alert under the Outbound Travel Alert System.

  • Outbound Travel Alert (OTA) ExtensionIn the event of the Security Bureau launches Red Alert or Black Alert to your planned destination, it is recommended that you adjust your travel plan or avoid non-essential travel to the country or region where the alert is launched to.

  • The Red Alert cover is effective only if the insurance is purchased before the announcement or issuance of the Red Alert or Black Alert under the Outbound Travel Alert System.

  • No benefit will be provided for any loss claimed under Section 3.2(b) (Journey Re-arrangement) or Section 3.3(2)(ii) (Outbound Travel Alert – Journey Re-arrangement) arising from the same cause.

  • Travel Alert – means an alert issued by the Government of Hong Kong under the Outbound Travel Alert (OTA) System.

  • Serves as the principal advisor to the Administrator and Deputy Administrator on diversity and equal opportunity for NASA (including civil service and contractor employees).

  • The Amber Alert is not payable under this Section 3.3 (Outbound Travel Alert Benefit).

  • Actual expenses incurred by an Insured Person in relation to additional travel fare and/or Accommodation will be reimbursed according to the Schedule of Benefits – Outbound Travel Alert as stated in this Travel Insurance Endorsement and up to the Maximum Benefit as stated in the Schedule of Benefits for the applicable Policy Section.

  • Upon the first issuance of an Outbound Travel Alert in respect of the place of destination of the scheduled itinerary after this Insurance has taken effect but prior to the commencement of the itinerary, the Insured Person may cancel this Policy and request for a refund of premium by giving the Company notice in writing provided always that no claim has been made and this Policy is not an Annual Cover.

  • Red Travel Alert means the red travel alert issued by the Hong Kong Security Bureau under the Outbound Travel Alert (OTA) System.

Related to Outbound Travel Alert

  • Cable Television Network or “cable TV network” means any system consisting of a set of closed transmission paths and associated signal generation, control and distribution equipment, designed to provide cable service for reception by multiple subscribers;

  • Merchant Network Upgrades means additions to, or modifications or replacements of, physical facilities of the Interconnected Transmission Owner that, on the date of the pertinent Transmission Interconnection Customer’s Upgrade Request, are part of the Transmission System or are included in the Regional Transmission Expansion Plan. Merchant Transmission Facilities:

  • Network User means each natural or legal person having concluded a Standard Transmission Agreement with the TSO for Transmission Services in the Transmission Grid.

  • Network Upgrades means modifications or additions to transmission-related facilities that are integrated with and support the Transmission Provider’s overall Transmission System for the general benefit of all users of such Transmission System. Network Upgrades shall include:

  • Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN means a switched network service that provides end-to-end digital connectivity for the simultaneous transmission of voice and data. Basic Rate Interface-ISDN (BRI-ISDN) provides for a digital transmission of two (2) 64 Kbps bearer channels and one (1) 16 Kbps data channel (2B+D).
