Black Alert definition

Black Alert means the Black travel alert issued by the Security Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government under the Outbound Travel Alert (OTA) System. “Child(ren)” means unmarried and unemployed child(ren), aged below eighteen (18).

  • This benefit does not cover any loss arising from Black Alert, medical or physical conditions or other circumstances affecting the Insured Person known to exist on the issue date of the Insurance Certificate.

  • Unanticipated issuance of a Black Alert for the city or country where the Insured Person planned to travel within one (1) week from the departure date.

  • Any such cause does not arise from Black Alert, medical or physical conditions or other circumstances affecting the Insured Person or his Immediate Family Members or the travel companion or Close Business Partner of the Insured Person known to exist on the issue date of the Insurance Certificate.
