Participating Authority definition

Participating Authority means a Contracting Authority entitled to place Orders under this Framework Agreement including the Authority and any other Contracting Authority as set out in the Key Provisions;
Participating Authority means a local authority mentioned in section 1(3) (a);
Participating Authority means an authority responsible for registration/licensure in one of the signatory country jurisdictions, where this is not the International Agreement Authorised Member

Examples of Participating Authority in a sentence

  • The Supplier agrees that it will not in its dealings with a Participating Authority seek to impose or rely on any other contractual terms which in any way vary or contradict the relevant Contract.

  • In relation to either or both of paragraphs 1 and 2 above, NHS Supply Chain may request pricing on the basis of a commitment by a Participating Authority to purchase a specified volume or value of Goods during an agreed period of time, for which NHS Supply Chain may pay the supplier in advance.

  • Any KPI discrepancy attributable to an act or omission of NHS Supply Chain (or another Participating Authority) shall not be used to calculate the Supplier’s sub-standard performance level.

  • Subject to Clauses 1.1 and 1.2 of this Schedule 7, each Participating Authority may place an Order with the Supplier by serving an Order Form.

  • Nothing in this Clause shall allow both the Authority and a Participating Authority to recover or claim for the same loss.


More Definitions of Participating Authority

Participating Authority means a UK Professional Engineering Institution (PEI) licensed by the Engineering Council to award CEng that has ratified this agreement. A list of current Participating Authorities will be maintained by the Engineering Council and provided to NCEES This list is shown in Appendix 3.
