Patient Assistance Program definition

Patient Assistance Program means a program that a Manufacturer offers to the public in which a consumer may reduce the consumer's out-of-pocket costs for Prescription Drugs by using coupons, discount cards, prepaid gift cards, Manufacturer debit cards, or by other means.
Patient Assistance Program means a program that provides assistance to Plan Members prescribed select supplies or services. Manufacturers and distributors may provide Patient Assistance Programs that include financial support, along with education and training.
Patient Assistance Program means a program that a manufacturer offers to the general public in which a consumer may reduce the consumer’s out-of-pocket costs for prescription drugs by using coupons or discount cards, receiving copayment assistance or by other means.

Patient Assistance Program means programs created by drug companies, such as Sanofi, to offer free or low cost drugs to individuals who are unable to pay for their medication. These Programs may also be called indigent drug programs, charitable drug programs or medication assistance programs.
Patient Assistance Program or “PAP” shall mean the Jazz Pharmaceuticals' sponsored program that provides Product at no cost to eligible patients. Jazz Pharmaceuticals has sole discretion over the eligibility criteria and operation of the PAP. “PAP Patient” shall mean a Patient who has been approved as eligible to participate in the PAP.
