Permanent Signage definition

Permanent Signage means any sign, exhibit, display or other visual image that is for the purpose of providing advertising or marketing, directions, security, crowd control, safety or other similar information or is otherwise not included within the definition of Temporary Signage, and is regulated as permanent signage in accordance with the City of Los Angeles Municipal Code. Person means and includes natural persons, corporations, limited partnerships, limited liability partnerships, limited liability companies, general partnerships, joint stock companies, joint ventures, associations, companies, trusts, banks, trust companies, land trusts, business trusts, league, the NCAA, the Pac-12, or other organizations, whether or not legal entities, and all Governmental Authorities. Permanent Signage means any signage that is constructed of durable materials, is affixed to any part of the Premises, and is expected to remain in place continuously for an indefinite period of time. Examples of Permanent Signage in a sentence

  • The erection of any such sign without the required approval shall constitute a breach of this rule and render the member liable to the penalties described in Clause 2.2. 2.4. Permanent Signage All members shall formally submit a signage policy for their property for approval by the Design Review Committee of the Association.

Related to Permanent Signage

  • Permanent sign means any structure, display, logo, device or representation which is designed or used to advertise or call attention to any item, business, activity or place and is visible from outside a building that is intended to be in place for a period that is longer than 30 days.   • Monument sign means a low-profile sign which is incorporated into the landscape or architectural design scheme where the sign is located.

  • Permanent Works means the permanent works to be executed by the Contractor under the Contract.

  • Permanent Work means the permanent works including equipment to be supplied, executed, erected and maintained in accordance with the Contract.

  • Specialty Alterations means Alterations consisting of kitchens, executive bathrooms, raised computer floors, computer installations, vaults, libraries, internal staircases, dumbwaiters, pneumatic tubes, vertical and horizontal transportation systems, and other Alterations of a similar character.

  • Base Building shall include the structural portions of the Building, the public restrooms and the Building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and equipment located in the internal core of the Building on the floor or floors on which the Premises are located. Tenant shall promptly provide Landlord with copies of any notices it receives regarding an alleged violation of Law. Tenant shall comply with the rules and regulations of the Building attached as Exhibit E and such other reasonable rules and regulations adopted by Landlord from time to time, including rules and regulations for the performance of Alterations (defined in Section 9).

  • Interior means the spaces, parts, components or elements of an individual dwelling unit.

  • Permanent radiographic installation means an enclosed shielded room, cell, or vault, not located at a temporary jobsite, in which radiography is performed.

  • Building, structure, facility, or installation means all of the pollutant-emitting activities which belong to the same industrial grouping, are located on one or more contiguous or adjacent properties, and are under the control of the same person (or persons under common control) except the activities of any vessel. Pollutant-emitting activities shall be considered as part of the same industrial grouping if they belong to the same major group (i.e., which have the same two-digit code) as described in the Standard Industrial Classification Manual, 1972, as amended by the 1977 Supplement (U.S. Government Printing Office stock numbers 4101-0066 and 003-005-00176-0, respectively).

  • Permanent structure means a permanent building or permanent structure that is anchored to a permanent foundation with an impermeable floor, and that is completely roofed and walled (new structures require a door or other means of sealing the access way from wind driven rainfall).

  • Built-Up Area and/or “Covered Area” in relation to a Flat shall mean the floor area of that Flat including the area of balconies and terraces, if any attached thereto, and also the thickness of the walls (external or internal) and the columns and pillars therein Provided That if any wall, column or pillar be common between two Flats, then one-half of the area under such wall column or pillar shall be included in the built-up area of each such Flat.

  • Major Alteration means change other than repair or replacement of building materials or equipment with materials and equipment of a similar type.

  • Tenant Improvements Defined in Exhibit B, if any.

  • Building Drain means that part of the lowest horizontal piping of a drainage system which receives the discharge from soil, waste, and other drainage pipes inside the walls of the building and conveys it to the building sewer, beginning five (5) feet (1.5 meters) outside the inner face of the building wall.

  • Outside Areas means all areas within the Property which are located outside the buildings, such as pedestrian walkways, parking areas, landscaped areas, open areas and enclosed trash disposal areas.

  • Building Plans means the general building plans in respect of the Development or in respect of any part or parts of the Development prepared by the Authorized Person and approved by the Building Authority and includes any amendments thereto from time to time approved by the Building Authority;

  • Building Square Footage or "BSF" means the square footage of assessable internal living space of a Unit, exclusive of any carports, walkways, garages, overhangs, patios, enclosed patios, detached accessory structure, other structures not used as living space, or any other square footage excluded under Government Code Section 65995 as determined by reference to the Building Permit for such Unit.

  • Substantial improvement means any combination of repairs, reconstruction, rehabilitation, addition, or other improvement of a structure, taking place during any one-year period for which the cost equals or exceeds 50 percent of the market value of the structure before the “start of construction” of the improvement. This term includes structures which have incurred “substantial damage”, regardless of the actual repair work performed. The term does not, however, include either:

  • Off-premises sign means a sign directing attention to a use, product, commodity or service not related to the premises upon which the sign is located.

  • Leasehold Improvements means all buildings, structures, improvements and fixtures located on any Leased Real Property which are owned by any Group Company, regardless of whether title to such buildings, structures, improvements or fixtures are subject to reversion to the landlord or other third party upon the expiration or termination of the Lease for such Leased Real Property.

  • Common Area means all areas and facilities within the Project that are not designated by Landlord for the exclusive use of Tenant or any other lessee or other occupant of the Project, including the parking areas, access and perimeter roads, pedestrian sidewalks, landscaped areas, trash enclosures, recreation areas and the like.

  • Building Equipment shall have the meaning set forth in the Security Instrument.

  • Common Areas is defined as all areas and facilities outside the Premises and within the exterior boundary line of the Project and interior utility raceways and installations within the Unit that are provided and designated by the Lessor from time to time for the general non-exclusive use of Lessor, Lessee and other tenants of the Project and their respective employees, suppliers, shippers, customers, contractors and invitees, including parking areas, loading and unloading areas, trash areas, roadways, walkways, driveways and landscaped areas.

  • Premises Building Partial Damage means if the Building of which the Premises are a part is damaged or destroyed to the extent that the cost to repair is less than fifty percent (50%) of the then Replacement Cost of the building.

  • Customer Premises Equipment or "CPE" means equipment employed on the premises of a Person other than a Carrier to originate, route or terminate Telecommunications (e.g., a telephone, PBX, modem pool, etc.).

  • Minimum Improvements means the acquisition of land and construction of a 152-unit market rate residential apartment building, construction of a stormwater pond and related improvements. The Minimum Improvements are more fully depicted in Exhibit B, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein.
