Permitted Devices definition

Permitted Devices means computers, virtual machines, servers or other devices, either on premise or hosted in a public or private cloud, in each case where such computers, virtual machines, servers and other devices are either owned, or exclusively reserved for use, by Licensee (i.e., not a shared resource).
Permitted Devices means Personal Computers, Set-Top Boxes, CE Streaming Devices, Mobile Devices and Additional Devices. All Permitted Devices that receive a transmission of any Licensed Program shall comply with the applicable requirements in this Schedule. Fox shall have the right upon thirty (30) days prior written notice (including by email notice) to Licensee, to de-authorize, for any material security or content protection reason, any particular Permitted Device with respect to Standard Definition exhibition and/or High Definition exhibition (as applicable) and any such device shall no longer be authorized with respect to the delivery of Licensed Programs in Standard Definition and/or High Definition, as specified by Fox.

  • Third parties, including Licensee’s Affiliates, may be granted access and use of the Licensed Software strictly for the purpose of using Licensee’s Products on Licensee’s Permitted Devices.

Upon Fox’s request (not to exceed once per calendar quarter), Licensee shall provide Fox with a list of all Permitted Devices (by maker/model) on which the Licensed Service is then available.

Related to Permitted Devices

  • Assistive device means any item, piece of equipment, or product system which is used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of an individual with a disability in the workplace or on the job. “Assistive device” does not mean any medical device, surgical device, or organ implanted or transplanted into or attached directly to an individual. “Assistive device” does not include any device for which a certificate of title is issued by the state department of transportation, but does include any item, piece of equipment, or product system otherwise meeting the definition of “assistive device” that is incorporated, attached, or included as a modification in or to such a device issued a certificate of title.
