Personal Data Incident definition

Personal Data Incident means any:
Personal Data Incident shall have the meaning assigned in the Data Protection Laws to the termssecurity incident,” “security breach” or “personal data breach” and shall include any situation in which Entrust becomes aware that Personal Data has been or is likely to have been accessed, disclosed, altered, lost, destroyed or used by unauthorized persons, in an unauthorized manner.
Personal Data Incident means any actual or suspected Personal Data Breach or any ‘near miss’ Personal Data incident which shall be defined as an incident involving Personal Data which has the potential to have led to a Personal Data Breach; "Personal Data Breach" has the meaning set out in the DPA;

Examples of Personal Data Incident in a sentence

  • Data Processor shall make reasonable efforts to identify the cause of such Personal Data Incident and take those steps as Data Processor deems necessary and reasonable in order to remediate the cause of such a Personal Data Incident to the extent the remediation is within Data Processor’s reasonable control.

  • Acquia shall make reasonable efforts to identify the cause of such Personal Data Incident and take those steps as Acquia deems necessary and reasonable in order to remediate the cause of such a Personal Data Incident to the extent the remediation is within Acquia’s reasonable control.

More Definitions of Personal Data Incident

Personal Data Incident shall have the same meaning as set out in the European Parliament and Council Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).
Personal Data Incident means the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or exfiltration of, or access to, Personal Data.

A Personal Data Incident does not include activities that do not compromise the security of Customer Personal Data including unsuccessful log-in attempts, denial of service attacks and other mitigated attacks on networked systems.

A Personal Data Incident does not include activities that do not compromise the security of Customer Personal Data including unsuccessful log-in attempts, denial of service attacks and other mitigated attacks on networked systems.
