Personal Reputation Costs definition

Personal Reputation Costs means reasonable fees, costs, charges and expenses charged by any public relations firm or crisis management firm incurred by the Insured Persons in connection with any Claim or Investigation to mitigate the adverse effects to such Insured Person’s reputation as a result of a negative public statement made about him or her by a Regulatory Authority.
Personal Reputation Costs means reasonable and necessary fees, costs and expenses of a firm incurred by an Insured Person of an Insured Entity to retain a firm solely to mitigate the negative impact upon such Insured Persons’ reputation as a result of a negative statement made by any individual authorized to speak on behalf of an Enforcement Entity. Such negative statement must have been included in a press release or published by any print or electronic me- dia outlet during the Policy Period. The Insured Persons shall retain a firm of his or her choos- ing but shall as a condition precedent to coverage for such costs obtain the prior approval of the Company within thirty (30) days of such negative statement. In no event shall the Company pay the fees of a firm if such firm is also retained by or on behalf of an Insured Entity.
Personal Reputation Costs means reasonable and necessary fees, costs, charges and expenses charged by any public relations firm or crisis management firm incurred by the Insured Persons in connection with any Claim or Investigation to mitigate the adverse effects to such Insured Person’s reputation as a result of a negative public statement made about him or her by a Regulatory Authority. All other terms and conditions of this Policy remain unchanged.   • If the entry for Item 3(b)(i), 3(b)(ii), 3(b)(iii) or 3(b)(iv) of the Declarations is blank or states “0,” “Not Available” or “N/A” (or a similar notation), then no coverage is afforded under this Coverage Section for Asset Protection Costs, Personal Reputation Costs, Derivative Demand Investigation Costs or Crisis Costs, respectively.

  • If the Insurer has consented to an Executive’s choice of Crisis Firm in connection with a Personal Reputation Crisis (which consent will not be unreasonably withheld), then he or she is not required to obtain the Insurer’s consent before incurring Personal Reputation Costs in response to such Personal Reputation Crisis.

Personal Reputation Costs means the reasonable and necessary fees, costs and expenses incurred by an Insured Person in connection with the retention of a Crisis Consultant to minimize effect of a Personal Reputation Crisis on such Insured Person’s reputation.
