The City, entering into a contract for goods or services of $1 million or more, entered into or renewed on or after July 1, 2011, can terminate such contract at the option of the City if the firm awarded the contract is found to have submitted a false certification or has been placed on the Scrutinized Companies with Activities in Sudan List or Scrutinized Companies with Activities in the Iran Petroleum Energy Sector List.

Vendors on Scrutinized Companies Lists: If this agreement is in the amount of $1 million or more, Recipient certifies upon executing this agreement, that it is not listed on either the Scrutinized Companies with Activities in Sudan List or the Scrutinized Companies with Activities in the Iran Petroleum Energy Sector List, created pursuant to §215.473, F.S., or engaged in business operations in Cuba or Syria.
All work undertaken by the Participant pursuant to this Agreement shall be performed in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations, including, but not limited to all Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Department of Transportation, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, New Mexico Water Quality Control Commission, and New Mexico Environmental Improvement Board Petroleum Storage Tank regulations.
