Pharmaceutical Field means the discovery, development, manufacture, use, or sale of biological or chemical substances for the medical cure, treatment, or prevention of diseases or conditions in human beings.

  • In the event of any assignment of right, title and interest in and to such Joint Patents abandoned by RMS and assumed by the Pharmaceutical Partners, Pharmaceutical Partners shall, and hereby do, grant to RMS a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, fully paid-up and sublicensable license in the Territory in the Diagnostic Field and for all other uses in the Territory outside the Pharmaceutical Field, in each case, to any and all such interest in such Joint Patents.

  • In no event shall the license grants in Section 9.1 through Section 9.6 to the extent applicable to RMS provide RMS or any of its sublicensees with the right to research, develop, obtain Regulatory Approval for, make, have made, use, sell, offer for sale, import, export or commercialize any products for use outside the Diagnostic Field, including without limitation any product for use in the Pharmaceutical Field in connection with the RMS Product.

More Definitions of Pharmaceutical Field

Pharmaceutical Field means the development and use of a C1 Strain as a Pharmaceutical Platform for the research, discovery, development, manufacture or commercialization of any Pharmaceutical Product.
Pharmaceutical Field means the research, development, importation, use, registration, manufacture, distribution or sale of Pharmaceutical Products;
Pharmaceutical Field shall have the meaning set forth in Section 7.10.
Pharmaceutical Field means all uses and all biological materials and chemical compounds active for the treatment, mitigation, diagnosis or prevention of disease states and conditions in humans and animals; provided, however, that the Pharmaceutical Field shall include active material and compounds for animal uses only which are: (i) Products that are subject to registration under FDA or USDA regulations in effect as of the Effective Date for the country in which a particular Product is offered for sale, as interpreted by administrative and judicial decisions, whenever made, and (ii) antimicrobial peptide products; and provided, further, that the Pharmaceutical Field shall not include Nutraceuticals nor animal feed Products (other than an animal feed Product which itself is used as an oral vaccine) that is not subject to registration under FDA or USDA regulations in effect as of the Effective Date for the country in which a particular Product is offered for sale, as interpreted by administrative and judicial decisions, whenever made.
Pharmaceutical Field means regulation, manufacturing, quality control, import, export and pharmacy services in drugs;
Pharmaceutical Field means research, development, manufacture, and commercialization of products directed to the prevention, maintenance, treatment, diagnosis, prediction, detection, evaluation or characterization of any disease, disorder, medical state or condition in animals (including humans).

  • Pharmaceutical Product shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 3.1(hh).

  • Radiopharmaceutical means any drug that exhibits spontaneous disintegration of unstable nuclei with the emission of nuclear particles or photons and includes any non-radioactive reagent kit or radionuclide generator that is intended to be used in the preparation of any such substance, but does not include drugs such as carbon-containing compounds or potassium-containing salts that include trace quantities of naturally occurring radionuclides. The term also includes any biological product that is labeled with a radionuclide or intended solely to be labeled with a radionuclide.

  • Biological product means a virus, therapeutic serum, toxin, antitoxin, vaccine, blood, blood component or derivative, allergenic product, protein other than a chemically synthesized polypeptide, or analogous product, or arsphenamine or any derivative of arsphenamine or any other trivalent organic arsenic compound, applicable to the prevention, treatment, or cure of a disease or condition of human beings.

  • Marihuana-infused product means a topical formulation, tincture, beverage, edible substance, or similar product containing marihuana and other ingredients and that is intended for human consumption.

  • Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient or “API” shall mean one or more of the following active pharmaceutical ingredients: tenofovir alafenamide (“TAF”), tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (“TDF”), elvitegravir (“EVG”), and cobicistat (“COBI”).

  • Competing Products means any product or service in existence or under development that competes with any product or service of the Company Group about which the Participant obtained Confidential Information or for which the Participant provided advisory services or had sales, origination, marketing, production, distribution, research or development responsibilities in the last twenty-four (24) months of employment with the Company Group.

  • Licensed Product means any pharmaceutical product containing a Licensed Compound (alone or with other active ingredients), in all forms, presentations, formulations and dosage forms.

  • Compounds means any or all of the following chemicals, as the context requires:

  • Licensed Fields of Use means the fields of use identified in Appendix B.
