Private connection definition

Private connection means the tapping of a main and the connection of the main with a nonpublic building or premises as distinguished from a connection with a public building or premises and from an extension of such a main, lateral or otherwise, that the township board, in accordance with altered or amended rules and regulations, authorizes in and along a public highway.
