Private Sewer System definition

Private Sewer System means any part of the sewer system that is not part of the public sewer system as defined in the code. This may include side sewers, sewer pipes, man holes, grinder pumps and other facilities that are specified as private facilities.
Private Sewer System means a system comprised of a septic tank and effluent absorption area designed for the purpose of processing sewage. The definition incorporates by reference the definition of private sewer system at Wis. Stat. §145.01(12) as if fully set forth herein.

Examples of Private Sewer System in a sentence

  • Property Owners, whose Private Sewer System has previously passed a Pressure Test more than fifteen (15) years prior to the date of notice within their respective designated drainage area, will be required to demonstrate the integrity of their Private Sewer System by, again, passing a Pressure Test.

More Definitions of Private Sewer System

Private Sewer System means any sewer, not owned by the District, that collects wastewater from two or more building sewers and discharges to a public sanitary sewer. Private sewer systems are not permitted except by specific agreement with the District. A copy of this agreement will be filed with the District.
