Protected Names has the meaning ascribed to it in Clause 3.8.6;

Protected Names means any name, phrase, or logo now or hereafter owned by Manager or its Affiliates, or by the Hotel Manager, its Affiliates or by any hotel operated by Hotel Manager or its Affiliates.

Protected Names means the mechanism by which the Registry may reserve certain names in order to extend additional rights protection for certain categories of Applicants.
