Protected Data definition

Protected Data means Student Data and/or Teacher or Principal Data, to the extent applicable to the product or service actually being provided to the District by Vendor pursuant to the Master Agreement.

Protected Data means (a) all User Information that you provide to Stripe; and (b) any Personal Data that Stripe uses when acting as a “Data Processor” (as defined in the Data Processing Agreement) when providing the Services.

Protected Data means Personal Data received from or on behalf of the Member relating to a Data Subject, or otherwise obtained or created in connection with the performance of the Services or IPSX's obligations or rights under this Agreement;

• Vendor agrees that it will protect the confidentiality, privacy and security of the Protected Data received from Participating Educational Agencies in accordance with Erie 1 BOCES’ Parents Bill of Rights for Data Privacy and Security, a copy of which has been signed by the Vendor and is set forth below.

• Data Storage and Security Protections: Any Protected Data Vendor receives will be stored on systems maintained by Vendor, or by a subcontractor under the direct control of Vendor, in a secure data center facility located within the United States.

• Upon request, Vendor and/or its subcontractors or other authorized persons or entities to whom it has disclosed Protected Data, as applicable, will provide the District with a certification from an appropriate officer that these requirements have been satisfied in full.

• The measures that Vendor (and, if applicable, its subcontractors) will take to protect Protected Data include adoption of technologies, safeguards and practices that align with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and safeguards associated with industry standards and best practices including, but not limited to, disk encryption, file encryption, firewalls, and password protection.

More Definitions of Protected Data

Protected Data means any data or information that is subject to regulation under Applicable Data Protection Law.

Protected Data means Personal Information and Confidential Data.

Protected Data means data regulated by the PCI-DSS, Personal Information and all data for which the Company or its Subsidiaries are required by Law or privacy policy to safeguard and/or keep confidential or private.
