Public Assistance Benefits definition

Public Assistance Benefits means benefits available under programs administered by MassHealth.
Public Assistance Benefits means those benefits available under the programs administered by DTA, including, without limitation, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (“SNAP”) (formerly known as “Food Stamps”), Emergency Aid to the Elderly, Disabled and Children (“EAEDC”), and Transitional Aid to Families with Dependent Children (“TAFDC”).

More Definitions of Public Assistance Benefits

Public Assistance Benefits means Temporary Assistance to Needy Families and Safety Net Assistance benefits that are issued by HRA to an eligible individual or family. Public Assistance Benefits shall not include either Food Stamps or Medicaid benefits.

Public Assistance Benefits means those benefits that are subject to Section 7 of the NVRA which are administered by DHHS, including, but not limited to: the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly the food-stamp program), the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program (formerly the Aid to Families with Dependent Children or AFDC program), the Medicaid program and the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
