Pump Operator definition

Pump Operator means one who operates a concrete, fuel, or other fluid pump; sets up pump and lays pipes or flexible lines; operates power unit of pump; takes pipelines apart to clean and store; may oil, grease or otherwise service and make necessary adjustments to equipment as needed; and may perform other related duties.
Pump Operator means the fire apparatus driver/operator who has demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the operation of apparatus equipped with an attack or fire pump in accordance with the objectives specified in this Standard for that level.
