Releasees definition

Releasees means each and any of the Defendants’ Releasees and each and any of the Plaintiffs’ Releasees.

Releasees means the Employer and all or any of its past and present parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, companies, partnerships, joint ventures and other entities and their groups, divisions, departments and units, and their past and present directors, trustees, officers, managers, partners, supervisors, employees, attorneys, agents and consultants, and their predecessors, successors and assigns.

Releasees shall refer to you and to the Company and each of the Company’s owners, stockholders, predecessors, successors, assigns, agents, directors, officers, employees, representatives, attorneys, advisors, parent companies, divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates (and agents, directors, officers, employees, representatives, attorneys and advisors of such parent companies, divisions, subsidiaries and affiliates) and all persons acting by, through, under or in concert with any of them.

Examples of Releasees in a sentence

• You further agree that, by no later than the Effective Date, you shall delete or otherwise remove any and all disparaging public comments or statements that you made prior to the Effective Date about or relating to the Releasees, including, but not limited to comments in online forums or websites (including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Glassdoor, Yelp, and LinkedIn), except those comments or statements permitted by the “Protected Rights” section.

• In consideration of the Releasees accepting my participation in Elk Watershed Discovery Camp 1 and permitting my use of College equipment, (hereinafter “College property”) and/or College of the Rockies, Fernie Campus at 000-0xx Xxx.

• THIS COURT ORDERS that each Other Action commenced in Ontario by any Ontario Settlement Class Member who has not validly opted-out of this action shall be and is hereby dismissed in respect of Released Claims against the Settling Defendants and the Releasees, without costs and with prejudice.

• THIS COURT ORDERS that each Ontario Settlement Class Member who has not validly opted-out of this action shall be deemed to have consented to the dismissal of Released Claims as against the Settling Defendants and its Releasees of any Other Actions he, she or it has commenced, without costs and with prejudice.

• The Settlement Amount and other consideration to be provided in accordance with the terms of this Settlement Agreement shall be provided in full satisfaction of the Released Claims against the Releasees.

More Definitions of Releasees

Releasees and “Claim” or “Claims” shall have the meanings set forth below:

Releasees means, jointly and severally, individually and collectively, the Settling Defendants and all of their present and former direct and indirect parents, owners, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, associates (as defined in the Canada Business Corporations Act, RSC 1985, c C-44), partners, joint ventures, franchisees, dealers, insurers, and all other Persons, partnerships or corporations with whom any of the former have been, or are now, affiliated, and all of their respective past, present and future officers, directors, employees, agents, mandataries, shareholders, attorneys, trustees, servants and representatives, members, managers and the predecessors, successors, purchasers, heirs, executors, administrators and assigns of each of the foregoing, excluding always the Non-Settling Defendants and the Non-Settling Defendants’ related entities.

Releasees means the Defendants and, as applicable, each of their respective direct and indirect subsidiaries, affiliates, and divisions, along with each of their respective current and former officers, directors, employees, trustees, representatives, lawyers, agents, insurers, and re-insurers; any and all predecessors, successors, and/or shareholders of the Defendants and each of their direct and indirect subsidiaries, affiliates, and divisions; and each of the Defendants’ respective heirs, executors, trustees, administrators and assigns.

Releasees include USA Hockey, Inc., its affiliate associations, local associations, member teams, event hosts, other participants, coaches, officials, sponsors, advertisers, and each of them, their officers, directors, agents and employees.

Releasees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.11(a).

Releasees means each and any of the Defendant Releasees and each and any of the Plaintiff Releasees.

Releasees and "Released Claims" in this Order is a matter of form only for consistency with the Settlement Agreement.
