Remedial Activities definition

Remedial Activities means any investigation, work plan preparation removal, repair, cleanup, abatement, remediation, monitored natural attenuation, natural resource damage assessment and restoration, closure, post-closure, detoxification or remedial activity of any kind whatsoever necessary to address Environmental Conditions.
Remedial Activities means any activities related to investigating, removing, remediating, treating, transporting, disposing, characterizing, sampling, monitoring, encapsulating or assessing Hazardous Materials (including, without limitation, any assessment of health or environmental risks posed by Hazardous Materials).
Remedial Activities shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.5.

  • For decision-taking this means:- - Approving development proposals that accord with the development plan without delay; and- Where the development plan is absent, silent or relevant policies are out-of-date, granting permission unless: any adverse impacts of doing so would significantly and demonstrably outweigh the benefits, when assessed against the policies in this framework taken as a whole; or specific policies in the Framework indicate development should be restricted.

  • Chemical Data Quality Management for Hazardous Waste Remedial Activities.

  • The definition of the term “commercial use standards,” or “unrestricted use standards” (also known as “residential use standards”) shall be the most stringent of the applicable definitions used in Environmental Guidance Standards in use in the State of the Demised Property, including Maximum Contaminant Levels for ground water, if the Remedial Activities are self-directed.

More Definitions of Remedial Activities

Remedial Activities means the investigation, sampling (including indoor air sampling), analysis, evaluation, assessment (including risk assessment and health assessment), feasibility study, remediation, treatment, removal, transport, disposal, characterization, encapsulation, monitoring, reporting or analysis of Environmental Conditions whether conducted by a consultant or contractor or by a party to this Agreement or any action taken to protect or preserve rights, negotiate or clarify requirements or to enforce limitations on the applicable Governmental Authority.
Remedial Activities means all activities required or undertaken to identify contamination and to reduce the concentration of contaminants to meet cleanup target levels. The term includes “closure” as outlined in 40 CFR 264.111 through 264.115 [as adopted in subsection 62-730.180(1), F.A.C.] and 40 CFR 265.111 through 265.115 [as adopted in subsection 62-730.180(2), F.A.C.] with respect to closing hazardous waste treatment, storage and disposal units; “postclosure care” as outlined in 40 CFR 264.117 through 264.120 [as adopted in subsection 62-730.180(1), F.A.C.] and 40 CFR 265.117 through 265.120 [as adopted in subsection 62-730.180(2), F.A.C.] with respect to closed hazardous waste treatment, storage and disposal units; and “corrective actionas required by 40 CFR Part 264 [as adopted in subsection 62-730.180(1), F.A.C.] for releases from any solid waste management unit at a hazardous waste facility. The term “remedial activities” with respect to a solid or hazardous waste management unit corresponds to “site rehabilitation” as used in Chapter 62-780, F.A.C., and defined at subsection 62-780.200(44), F.A.C.
Remedial Activities has the meaning set forth in Section 8.1(c).
Remedial Activities means all actions, including, without limitation, making any capital expenditures, required to: (A) clean up, remove, treat, or in any way address any Hazardous Materials released prior to the Closing, (B) prevent the release or threat of release, or minimize the continuing release, of any Hazardous Materials released prior to the Closing Date, or (C) perform pre-remedial site investigations or post-remedial monitoring and care of any Hazardous Materials released prior to the Closing.

Remedial Activities means any actions specifically required by Environmental Laws to (i) cleanup, remove, treat or in any other way address any Hazardous Materials located in, on or under the soil or groundwater at concentrations in excess of the cleanup criteria described in subsection (d)(ii) above and (ii) pre-remedial investigations or post-remedial monitoring; provided, that other than the Known Remedial Activities, Remedial Activities shall not include any investigations voluntarily undertaken by Purchaser or the cleanup, removal or treatment associated with such voluntary investigations but shall include any such activities taken by Purchaser as a result of Seller's breach of any representations and warranties contained in Section 4.17 hereof.
Remedial Activities means any sampling, testing, investigation, feasibility study, health assessment, risk assessment, construction activity, installation, encapsulation, removal, excavation, treatment, discharge, disposal, removal, transportation, monitoring and remediation thereto of Contamination or any Hazardous Material from, in or on any real property, or the soil, groundwater, surface water, ambient air, indoor air, or building materials thereof.
