Request for Dues Checkoff. Teachers shall have the right to request and be allowed dues checkoff for the teacher organization of their selection, provided that dues checkoff and the proceeds thereof shall not be allowed any teacher organization that has lost its right to dues checkoff pursuant to P.E.L.R.A. Upon receipt of a properly executed authorization card of the teacher involved, the School District will deduct from the teacher's paycheck the dues that the teacher has agreed to pay to the teacher organization during the period provided in such authorization. The Exclusive Representative hereby warrants and covenants that it will defend, indemnify and save the School District harmless from any and all actions, suits, claims, damages, judgments and executions or other forms of liability, liquidated or unliquidated, which any person may have or claim to have, now, or in the future, arising out of or by reason of the deduction of dues specified by the Exclusive Representative as provided herein.

  • Request for Applications (RFA) means the document (including all amendments and attachments) issued by the System Agency under which applications for Program funds were requested, which is incorporated by reference for all purposes in its entirety.
