Residential Gateway definition

Residential Gateway or “RG” means a manageable access device with auto configuration, multiple interface, multi-service perceiving, bears services of different types at the same time and connects a home’s local area network to the Access Provider’s BTU;
Residential Gateway also known as a router, is a device supplied by seethelight as an interface to the customer’s equipment (including, but not limited to, personal computers).
Residential Gateway means Telocity's proprietary hardware unit, consisting of a digital subscriber line modem (or a modem supporting such other broadband connectivity as may be utilized to provide Telocity services), an analog modem and a microprocessor, as well as any software or other technology incorporated therein (including minor and major improvements thereto) and documentation relating thereto.

  • Residential Zone means a zone earmarked for buildings exclusively designed for human habitation and in no case shall include its use in whole or a part thereof for any other purpose e.g commercial activities, school, institution, shop, office, clinic, beauty parlor, guest house, marriage center, gymnasium, tuition center, club activities, work-shop, store or godown etc. or for the purpose of political, religious and sectarian activities.
