Roadway Facility definition

Roadway Facility or “Roadway Facilities" shall mean Collector and Arterial Roadway through-lanes, turn-lanes, bridges, curbs, gutters, medians, and/or shoulders; the construction of drainage facilities and/or mitigation areas for Collector and Arterial Roadways; and the installation of signage, advanced traffic management systems and/or traffic signalization for Collector and Arterial Roadways. For purposes of this division, the term Roadway Facilities shall not include Bicycle/Pedestrian Facilities and Transit Facilities. However, bicycle/pedestrian crossing areas and bicycle lanes constructed contiguous to, or within, a vehicular travel lane shall be considered a Roadway Facility, and not a Bicycle/Pedestrian Facility.
Roadway Facility means an improvement or appurtenance to a roadway which includes, but is not limited to, rights-of-way, whether conveyed by deed or easement; intersection improvements; traffic signals; turn lanes; drainage facilities associated with the roadway; street lighting or curbs. Roadway facility also includes any improvement or appurtenance to an intersection with a roadway officially enumerated in the federal or Texas highway system, and to any improvements or appurtenances to such federal or Texas highway, to the extent that the City has incurred capital costs for such facilities, including without limitation local matching funds and costs related to utility line relocation and the establishment of curbs, gutters, sidewalks, drainage appurtenances and rights-of-way. Roadway facilityexcludes those improvements or appurtenances to any roadway which is a site- related facility.
Roadway Facility means a roadway together with appurtenances to a roadway which includes, but is not limited to design, rights-of-way, whether conveyed by deed or easement; intersection improvements; traffic control devices; turn lanes; drainage facilities associated with the roadway; sidewalks; street lighting or curbs. Roadway Facility also includes any improvement or appurtenance to an intersection with a roadway officially enumerated in the federal or Texas highway system. Roadway facility excludes those improvements to a roadway or appurtenances, which are site-related facilities.

  • The Commission further agrees that KDOT reserves the right to issue Partial Acceptance on portions of the Project, and if Partial Acceptance is issued, the Commission agrees to assume all legal responsibility, without limitation, including all maintenance responsibilities of any portions of the Roadway Facility to be transferred to the Commission, as shown on Exhibit 1.

More Definitions of Roadway Facility

Roadway Facility means portions of roadway including part of the existing State Highway US-77 and other infrastructure being improved with the Project. The Roadway Facility includes, but is not limited to, the actual roadbed together with all bridges, curbs, culverts, drainage structures, sidewalks, bike paths, and other features located within the Right of Way as of the Transfer Date. Specifically, the Roadway Facility shall be as set forth on Exhibit 1 and described as: a. The portion of US-77 as laid out in the Project Plans for 077-018 KA-4137-01 that are to become the new portion of D Street. This portion of the Roadway Facility shall include the following structures: i. Sta 12+25—Type 22 Curb Inlet & 30” x 20’ storm sewer (RP)(W) with end section ii. Sta 29+30.61—3—10’ x 7’ x 197’ RCB iii. Sta 40+17—30” CRP (RCP) extension with 5’ end section b. The new access road connecting private land owned by Xxxxxxxx Field Industrial Park and East 222nd Road[This portion of the Roadway Facility shall include the following structures: i. Sta 48+00—24” x 38’ CRP with end sections ii. Sta 54+90—24” x 36’ CRP with end sections iii. Sta 61+60—24” x 33’ CRP with end sections
Roadway Facility means existing and proposed streets and all related facilities including, but not limited to pavement, drainage facilities, sidewalks, signals, markings, signage, streetlights, median openings, turn lanes, and acceleration or deceleration lanes.
Roadway Facility means a portion of the existing State Highway K-14, which is to be transferred to the City and formally withdrawn or removed from the State Highway System, being: old K-14 from the south city limit near Beth Dr. north approximately 1.55 miles to the north city limit, and is subject of this Agreement. The Roadway Facility includes, but is not limited to, the actual roadbed together with the associated Right-of-Way, and all curbs, culverts, drainage structures, sidewalks, bike paths, and other features located within the Right of Way as of the Transfer Date.

  • Utility Facilities means the plant, equipment and property, including but not limited to, the poles, pipes, mains, conduits, ducts, cables, fiber optic cables, circuits, wires, lines, plant and equipment located under, on or above the surface of the ground within the Public Ways of the City and used or to be used for the purpose of providing utility services or Telecommunications Services.

  • Wireless facility means equipment at a fixed location that enables wireless communications

  • Existing Facilities means all existing buildings and other facilities, the sites for the buildings or facilities, and furnishings or equipment for the buildings or facilities located on real property acquired by the building authority under the terms of this act.

  • Infrastructure facility means a building; structure; or networks of buildings, structures, pipes, controls, and equipment, or portion thereof, that provide transportation, utilities, public education, or public safety services. Included are government office buildings; public schools; courthouses; jails; prisons; water treatment plants, distribution systems, and pumping stations; wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, and pumping stations; solid waste disposal plants, incinerators, landfills, and related facilities; public roads and streets; highways; public parking facilities; public transportation systems, terminals, and rolling stock; rail, air, and water port structures, terminals, and equipment.

  • Facility Site means the site described in Schedule B. “FERC” means the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

  • Common Facility Means a place where tenants utilise the same equipment such as kitchen, laundry and meeting room and or car park.

  • Bank Facilities means any overdraft limits or credit facility available to you and their associated terms;

  • Vending facility means automatic vending machines, cafeterias, snack bars, cart service, shelters, counters, and such other appropriate auxiliary equipment which may be operated by licensed managers and which is necessary for the sale of newspapers, periodicals, confections, tobacco products, foods, beverages, and other articles or services dispensed automatically or manually and prepared on or off the premises in accordance with all applicable health laws and including the vending or exchange of chances for any lottery authorized by State Law and conducted by an agency of a State within such State.   • Electric Facility means a Generator or an electric transmission facility.

  • Tanning facility means any premises, building, or part of a building that contains one or more rooms or booths with any of the following:

  • Air navigation facility means any facility, other than one owned and operated by the United States, used in, available for use in, or designed for use in aid of air navigation, including any structures, mechanisms, lights, beacons, markers, communicating systems, or other instrumentalities or devices used or useful as an aid, or constituting an advantage or convenience to the safe taking off, navigation, and landing of aircraft, or the safe and efficient operation or maintenance of an airport, and any combination of any or all of such facilities.

  • Railroad facilities means right of way and related

  • Liquidity Facilities means, collectively, the Class A Liquidity Facility and the Class B Liquidity Facility.

  • Credit Facility shall include any agreement or instrument (1) changing the maturity of any Indebtedness Incurred thereunder or contemplated thereby, (2) adding Subsidiaries of the Company as additional borrowers or guarantors thereunder, (3) increasing the amount of Indebtedness Incurred thereunder or available to be borrowed thereunder or (4) otherwise altering the terms and conditions thereof.

  • Revolving Facilities means collectively the Initial Revolving Facility and each New Revolving Facility and “Revolving Facility” means any such facility individually.
