RPL definition

RPL means recognition of prior learning, being a process of assessment of any skills and knowledge that an individual has achieved outside the formal education and training system, in order to determine the extent to which an individual has achieved the required learning outcomes, competency outcomes, or standards for entry to, and/or partial or total completion of, a qualification.
RPL means recognition of prior learning and refers to a mechanism for the recognition of the achievement of one or more of the competencies prescribed by SAICA, however obtained. In terms of RPL a trainee accountant need not undergo any further learning intervention in respect of the relevant competency or competencies;

RPL means recognition of prior learning, being a process of assessment of any skills and knowledge that an individual has achieved outside the formal education and training system, in order to determine the extent to which an individual has achieved the required learning outcomes, competency outcomes, or standards for entry to, and/or partial or total completion of, a qualification. Segregation of Duties means the assignment of different people in the responsibility of authorising transactions, recording transactions and maintaining custody of assets with the intention of reducing the opportunities to allow any person to be in a position to both perpetrate and conceal fraud or error due to fraud in the normal course of their duties.
