Safety Critical Event definition

Safety Critical Event means risk to the health and safety of any individual or risk of damage or destruction to any property, or any incident which may reduce the safety integrity levels of any item of infrastructure;

More Definitions of Safety Critical Event

Safety Critical Event means an imminent risk: (i) to the health and safety of any person(s); (ii) of damage or destruction to any property on or adjacent to the Railway Infrastructure which may have an adverse affect on the safe operation of the Railway; or (iii) of an Operational Emergency;
Safety Critical Event means a relevant risk to the health and safety of any person(s) or risk of material damage or destruction to any Railway Property, or any incident, which may reduce the safety integrity levels of any item of infrastructure on the Network.

Related to Safety Critical Event

  • Critical Illness or “CI” means Diagnosis of any of the following Covered Conditions which occur directly as a result of illness, and first occur after the Effective Date of Insurance:

  • Critical control point means a point or procedure in a specific food system where loss of control may result in an unacceptable health risk.

  • Indirect Political Event shall have the meaning set forth in Clause 21.3;

  • Non-Political Event shall have the meaning set forth in Clause 21.2;

  • Emergency Medical Event means an event wherein an Insured Person’s medical condition and situation are such that, in the opinion of the Company’s affiliate or authorized vendor and the Insured Person’s treating physician, the Insured Person requires urgent medical attention without which there would be a significant risk of death, or serious impairment and adequate medical treatment is not available at the Insured Person’s initial medical facility.
