Second Offense definition

Second Offense means any second offense during a given school year while in membership in Taylor County Schools.
Second Offense means a violation of any law subject to penalty under Chapter 399, F.S., after one disciplinary Final Order involving the same law and the same licensee or certificate holder have been filed with the Agency Clerk within the 24 months preceding the date the current administrative complaint is issued.
Second Offense means any second offense while enrolled in grades 6-12 regardless of home school district.

More Definitions of Second Offense

Second Offense. The student will meet with the principal and parents and be assigned an in-school suspension. Continued tardiness will not be tolerated.
Second Offense. The Student produced inappropriate materials, vandalized the iPad or accessed restricted material a second time in a one year period. The consequence of such action(s) may restrict the Student for a period of up to 4 weeks without iPad use.
Second Offense. The student will be sent down to the principal by the teacher/staff to make the necessary adjustments in his/her dress. If student does not change into proper attire, an in school suspension will be issued.

Parents/guardians will be called and will be required to come to the main office themselves to retrieve the cell phone or device, and the student will be issued a suspension. Any serious cell phone or electronic device offense, including but not limited to, repeated violation of school day use, taking or sharing of inappropriate photos, video recordings, and/or cyber-bullying, etc. may result in suspension or expulsion. Mater Christi School reserves the right to monitor student lockers to protect the safety of the community. If we have reason to believe student(s) are keeping their phones in their lockers in violation of the CELL PHONE FREE CAMPUS POLICY, the school administration may search lockers. * “Cell Phones,” in this context, include any of the following devices: iPods/MP3 Players, iPads/Tablets, Apple Watches, and electronic gaming or entertainment devices, etc.
Second Offense means a violation for which there is only one prior similar violation.
Second Offense. A disciplinary report or written warning will be issued. A meeting will be held between the member’s site supervisor and AmeriCorps manager to discuss the nature of the problems and to discuss an action plan for the member’s continued service. This action plan will be reviewed with the AmeriCorps member.
