Service and Maintenance definition

Service and Maintenance. We will service and repair the Equipment at no cost to you and you will provide Eddy Solutions with access to the Equipment whenever reasonably required by Eddy Solutions (or an authorized representative) for purposes of inspection, repair, or removal of the Equipment. You may contact Eddy Solutions to arrange for one of its technicians to conduct an inspection and repair of the Equipment. All labour and materials required to carry out the repairs will be provided by Eddy Solutions at no additional cost to you as long as you are subscribed to the monitoring service and your account is in good standing. For great- er certainty, the preventative maintenance and or repair work described will be limited to (if required) (i) replacing the battery supply, (ii) verifying the integrity and operation of the Equipment, and/or (iii) ensuring that the Equipment is operating to the manufacturer’s specifications. Our obligation to service and repair the Equipment (including the preventative mainte- xxxxx described above) will cease where (i) you (or a third party not au- thorized by us) have moved the Equipment from the place of installation,
Service and Maintenance means the service and maintenance measures identified and specified in detail in each contract.
Service and Maintenance work means but is not limited to installing, altering, repairing, restoring, maintaining, extending work for the purpose of one off calls or programmed maintenance.

Examples of Service and Maintenance in a sentence

  • If the Supplier has undertaken installation, service and maintenance of the Product, as defined in item 1.2, or development, the Special Terms and Conditions - Installation, Special Terms and Conditions - Service and Maintenance, or as the case may be the Special Terms and Conditions - Development as attached hereto shall additionally apply.

  • The Supplier must perform its Service and Maintenance obligations with care and in an otherwise professional manner.

  • During the term of the Agreement, the Supplier has the exclusive right to perform Service and Maintenance of the Product in accordance with these Special Terms and Conditions.

  • The Supplier undertakes, in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement (including these Special Terms and Conditions as well as the General Terms and Conditions), to perform Assignments for Service and Maintenance on specified equipment, including accessories (‘the Product’) supplied by the Supplier.

  • These Special Terms and Conditions deviate from item 6.3 of the General Terms and Conditions as the Supplier is only liable for non-conformities which manifest within six (6) months as from the date of delivery of the Service and Maintenance, i.e. not from the date the risk for the Product passed to the Purchaser.

  • In addition to these Special Terms and Conditions, Supplier’s performance of Service and Maintenance is also subject to the provisions in Addtech, General Terms and Conditions (the “General Terms and Conditions”), it being understood that that what applies to the Product in the General Terms and Conditions also applies to the performance of Service and Maintenance.


More Definitions of Service and Maintenance

Service and Maintenance means (a) any modification, adjustment, minor repair, or replacement of the equipment that corrects a malfunction and effectively brings the equipment into material conformity with the technical specification for that equipment as designated by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), (b) a procedure or routine that, when observed in the regular, proper operation of the equipment, avoids the material adverse effect of the applicable nonconformity, (c) any measures performed that assure the continued operation of the equipment or returns the equipment to its designed efficiency and capacity, (d) replacement of a piece of equipment on a one-forgone basis in order to provide a substitute of equal or greater value in lieu of a damaged or defective device for compensation, return, or refund of equipment..
Service and Maintenance means all routine or periodic action taken to assure that an existing private water system operates as it was intended including the in-place correction, cleaning, or replacement of damaged or worn out devices with approved devices. Service and maintenance shall include the replacement of mechanical devices such as pumps; replacement of broken device lids, risers, and baffles; the installation or cleaning of an outlet filter; and all other actions not defined as an alteration or replacement, as determined by the board of health.
Service and Maintenance means the service and maintenance measures identified and specified in detail in each Agreement (as defined in item b.1.5).

Related to Service and Maintenance

  • Planned Maintenance means any Maintenance BT has planned to do in advance.

  • Operation and Maintenance or “O&M” shall mean all activities required to operate, maintain, and monitor the effectiveness of the RA as specified in the SOW or any EPA-approved O&M Plan.

  • Support and Maintenance Services means the support and maintenance services described in Section 1 of these Support Terms.

  • Operation and Maintenance Expenses or ‘O&M expenses' means the expenditure incurred on operation and maintenance of the project, or part thereof, and includes the expenditure on manpower, repairs, spares, consumables, insurance and overheads;

  • Deferred Maintenance means improvements necessary for continued operations which do not improve productivity or alter the process technology.

  • Scheduled Maintenance means routine maintenance scheduled by Orange to implement generic changes to, or updates of, the Orange Services or the Orange Network.

  • Routine maintenance means activities to keep an impervious surface as near as possible to its constructed condition. This includes ordinary maintenance activities, resurfacing paved areas, and exterior building changes or improvements which do not materially increase or concentrate stormwater runoff, or cause additional nonpoint source pollution.

  • Maintenance and Support Services means the services provided by Contractor under Appendix F.

  • Maintenance and Support means updates, upgrades, patches, fixes, etc. and technical support provided for the Products and Services that Supplier is required to provide directly to DXC or a DXC Customer.

  • Software Maintenance means the process of modifying software after delivery to correct faults, improve performance or other attributes, or adapt to a changed environment. (Reference ISO/IEC 14764:2006, as amended or superseded.) Software maintenance does not include any customization or configuration.

  • Maintenance Services means SAP’s then-current maintenance and/or support services offered under and described in detail in the applicable SAP PartnerEdge Model.

  • Emergency Maintenance means any period of maintenance for which, due to reasons beyond its reasonable control, Connaught is unable to provide prior notice of.

  • Maintenance Schedule means a document which describes the specific scheduled maintenance tasks and their frequency of completion necessary for the safe operation of those aircraft to which it applies;

  • Maintenance work means the repair of existing facilities when the size, type or extent of such facilities is not thereby changed or increased. While “maintenance” includes painting and decorating and is covered under the law, it does not include work such as routine landscape maintenance or janitorial services.

  • Maintenance Outage means NERC Event Type MO, as set forth in attached Exhibit B, and includes any outage involving ten percent (10%) of the Facility’s Net Output that is not a Forced Outage or a Planned Outage.

  • Corrective Maintenance means the maintenance which is required when an item has failed or worn out, to bring it back to working order, which may also include those services necessary to partially restore, renew or strengthen an existing Department facility or system, following damage caused by use or normal wear and tear.

  • Maintenance Adder means an adder that may be included to account for variable operation and maintenance expenses in a Market Seller’s Fuel Cost Policy. The Maintenance Adder is calculated in accordance with the applicable provisions of PJM Manual 15, and may only include expenses incurred as a result of electric production.

  • Maintenance area means any geographic region of the United States previously designated nonattainment pursuant to the CAA Amendments of 1990 and subsequently redesignated to attainment subject to the requirement to develop a maintenance plan under Section 175A of the CAA, as amended.

  • Maintenance Costs means parts and materials, sublet and labour costs of a qualified licensed mechanic for the maintenance of the Revenue Service Vehicles, but shall not include costs associated with interior and exterior transit advertising signs and non-mechanical servicing of Revenue Service Vehicles such as fuelling, clearing fareboxes, cleaning and painting wheel rims, vehicle washing and other work performed by a serviceman; and,

  • Preventive Maintenance means that maintenance, performed on a scheduled basis by the Contractor, which is designed to keep the Equipment in proper operating condition.
