Sessional employment definition
Sessional employment means employment in posi- tions of legislative agencies that require the services of an employee more than 600 hours in any 26 consecutive full biweekly payroll periods and which normally permits attainment of permanent status in class through successive reinstatements, but the duration of which is closely related to the legislative ses- sion.
Sessional employment means the casual employment of academic Teaching Associate staff who are appointed to undertake a single or specific number of sessions related to demonstrating, tutoring, lecturing, marking, supervision, academic research assistance, music accompanying with special educational service, undergraduate clinical nurse education or other required academic activity.
Sessional employment means a part-time or full-time instructional assignment, paid hourly on a course credit basis for a defined term.
