Social Safeguards Framework definition

Social Safeguards Framework means the North East Provincial Council’s Social Safeguards and Risk Monitoring and Management Framework for the Project framework that sets out, among other things: (i) key policy principles for social management; (ii) (i) measures to monitor guide the screening of activities for significant social impacts, and, if necessary, to assist in the mitigation of such impacts; (iii)(ii) procedures to ensure that these principles and measures are appropriately applied; and (iv) (iii) guidelines for capacity building and monitoring;
Social Safeguards Framework means the Borrower’s social safeguards framework, satisfactory to the Association, including any amendments made to such documents from time to time with the Association’s approval, that contain measures to address any social impact arising from carrying out Part Z of the Project;
Social Safeguards Framework means the framework, dated December 23, 2004, satisfactory to the Bank, describing procedures, principles, and guidelines for: (i) the mitigation of the potential adverse social impact under a Sub- project; (ii) the preparation of a resettlement action plan and an ethnic minority development plan, as the case may be, if required for the Sub-project; and (iii) the preparation of a social analysis report for the overall heating system or housing complex which hosts the Sub-project; as the same may be amended from time to time with the prior agreement of the Bank.
