Specialized Units definition

Specialized Units means those units that the Chief of FIUPD or designee has designated which are assigned duties beyond that of a patrol officer, which require a degree of training, familiarity, and/or orientation necessary to fulfill said assignment, and where the assignment to the unit is a primary duty. Examples include, but are not limited to, Investigations unit, Housing unit, Community Policing unit, K-9 unit, and Pedestrian and Traffic Safety unit.

  • Covered Units means: (i) during the period of the Employee’s employment with the Corporation, each business unit of the Corporation; and (ii) following the Employment Termination Date, each business unit of the Corporation in or for which the Employee was employed or to which the Employee provided services or about which the Employee obtained or had access to Confidential Information, in each case of this clause (ii) at any time within the twenty-four (24)-month period prior to the Employment Termination Date.   • Significant emissions unit means an emissions unit that emits or has the potential to emit a PAL pollutant in an amount that is equal to or greater than the significant level (as defined in section 140 or in the Act, whichever is lower) for that PAL pollutant, but less than the amount that would qualify the unit as a major emissions unit as defined in section 079.
