Specialized Units definition

Specialized Units means those units that the Chief of FIUPD or his/her designee has designated which are assigned duties beyond that of a patrol officer, which require a degree of training, familiarity, and/or orientation necessary to fulfill said assignment, and where the assignment to the unit is a primary duty. Examples include, but are not limited to, Investigations unit, Housing unit, Community Policing unit, K-9 unit, and Pedestrian and Traffic Safety unit.

  • Preferred Units means a Partnership Interest, including the Series A Preferred Units, designated as a “Preferred Unit,” which entitles the holder thereof to a preference with respect to distributions, or as to the distribution of assets upon any Liquidation Event, over Common Units.

  • Tendered Units shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8.6.A.

  • Class A LP Units means, collectively, the Class A limited partnership units of the Partnership.

  • Management Stock means Capital Stock of the Company or any Parent (including any options, warrants or other rights in respect thereof) held by any of the Management Investors.

  • Redeemed Units has the meaning set forth in Section 11.01(a).

  • Subordinated Unit means a Limited Partner Interest having the rights and obligations specified with respect to Subordinated Units in this Agreement. The term “Subordinated Unit” does not include a Common Unit. A Subordinated Unit that is convertible into a Common Unit shall not constitute a Common Unit until such conversion occurs.

  • Partial Entitlement Share(s) shall have the respective meanings set forth in Section 2.12.
