Patrol Officer definition

Patrol Officer means the same.
Patrol Officer as used in this Agreement shall refer to all full-time employees assigned to the negotiations unit authorized by the Board of Education on March 21, 2013. This includes armed Patrol Officers.
Patrol Officer as used herein shall mean every police officer under the rank of sergeant.

  • The discretion of such assignments shall be vested solely in the Employer and such assignments shall be limited to stations determined by the Chief State Patrol Officer.

  • An employee in the classification of Patrol Officer, who is designated by the Employer to assume command of a patrol shift, shall be entitled to acting supervisor pay of five (5%) percent of the starting hourly salary of a Sergeant for each hour he/she is in command of said shift.

  • On any scheduled workday where emergency operational needs require, as defined by departmental policy, a Marine Patrol Officer or Marine Patrol Specialist to exceed eight (8) or ten (10) hours of actual work, he/she shall notify his/her immediate supervisor within twelve (12) hours of the additional hours worked, so that his/her work schedule may be adjusted as necessary.
